Please tell me what you think

If it looks like a terrorist and walks like a terrorist and smells like a terrorist, it must be a muslim.
That sounds as ignorant as saying "If it looks like an illegal immigrant and walks like an illegal immigrant and smells like an illegal immigrant, it must be a mexican."

Is Bush representing the chrisitans.

How many terrorists according to the list in this thread are muslim? How many terrorists do you know that are non-muslim in the last year? How many illegal aliens are Mexican?

I am not interested in politics, especially how corrupt it is these days. And people you know those things about terrorism is hurtful to me and that picture of bush is hurtful to you and me. Why do you always use propaganda. Like some people said before you cant say the whole religion is responsible for the faults of a few. There are faults on both sides and we have to accept that. Cant you base your arguments on the teachings of the Bible or Quran.

Potluck, ATM there is no major Christian terrorism going on. However, go back to the terrorist wars in Ireland, and you would have attacks like that daily, usually with lower casualties.

as people advance, and the ability to develope and utilize new tactics of terrorism, casualties will of course increase.

And that's all you guys have to say?
676 terrorist attacks in 90 days in Pakistan, Iraq, Thailand, Somalia, Afghanistan, India, Pal. Auth., Jordan, Algeria, Philippines, Turkey, Dagestan, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Ingushetia, Yemen, Israel, Bangladesh, Chad and Chechnya.

One cites Ireland, one posts that his feelings are hurt then posts a link to 9/11 conspiracy theories and the third agrees.

676 attacks in 21 countries rationalized and ignored <Potluck snaps his fingers> just like that. Nothing... nothing condemning these acts of outright murder. Not one word from any of you in response to these hideous acts of violence. Nothing.
You all are so obsessed with what christians think that you won't even acknowledge the evil of these attacks.
Peace4all,
This isn't Ireland. This is global. This IS NOT in one country. This is global WAR against anyone... anyone who does not bend to the wills of those perpetrating the slaughter. And I DON'T care whether I'm christian or not. In the face of these facts it really does NOT matter does it? Anyone with any kind of human decency can see the malicious and heinous attrocities these people are wreaking throughout the world.

Deep_thinking,
Your feelings are hurt? Well, I'm sorry for that. Go tell that to the families who are losing their kids, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, counsins and girlfriends and boyfriends that the only thing you can say is your feelings are hurt because someone posted about the killings.

Newkid00,
Your response is to bash christianity because people on this forum are attempting to point out the immediate threat of global violence? Your response is to bash the other guy? You're as obsessed with anti-christian doctrine as peace4all.

Not ONE word against this violence from any of you. Not one word condemning these people killing indiscriminately in the name of their god. Not ONE single word. These are facts. These occurances are NOT a question of translation, faith, interpretation or beliefs. 7289 terrorist attacks since 9/11/2002 and nobody, including you three, seems to care.

And you know what? I don't care if you all hate me. I don't care what you think of christians, muslims, protestants or old man Kelsey's cow. Trying to rartionalize these killings by bashing another belief makes no sense what-so-ever. And I don't care if I get banned. You three disgust me.

Potluck,
Do not be so hard on yourself because the foolish are unable to understand the wisdom of God. It is not our problem that fools reject the truth of God's Word, and can not understand the spiritual things of God, because they do not have the Holy Spirit.

Personally, I do not know why these types are allowed to gender discontent and strife on a Christian forum. They are obviously not children of God, as they are unbelievers. They are obviously children of the father of lies, as they have bought into his deception.

God Bless you and yours, brother!

I agree with all of peace4all's posts, again.

Of course you do. Birds of a feather flock together....

Solo I agree with your post and Potluck, that is a great list, but only shows a small portion of the terrorism that has been caused by muslims in the name of Islam....

How dare you three. I know I'm not the best Christian, I will admit to that, but you guys have no right to say I'm not a believer. So because I'm open minded I'm not a child of God?! Good job I just lost respect for you three.

Thanks again for the link back there Potluck!

Here's something interesting...

http://www.freemuslims.org/

Some are trying. :)

We believe in the re-interpretation of Islam for the 21st century where terrorism is not justified under any circumstances.

We believe in the separation of religion and state.

We believe that democracy is the best form of government.

We believe in the promotion of secularism in all forms of political activity.

We believe that equality for women is an inalienable right.

We believe that religion is a personal relationship between the individual and his or her God and is not to be forced on anyone.

Lets hope this gains steam among muslims!

...although this is too bad...

from http://www.freemuslims.org/issues/terrorism.php
So far, the few Muslims who choose to speak up against militant extremist Islam have faced threats of violence and accusations of being anti-Islam. Even members of this Coalition face threats as they carry out their work. In effect, the message disseminated by radical Muslims is that merely discussing Islamic terrorism is to be construed as an attack on Islam.

I listed tons of christian terrorists, not just in ireland.

20 years ago, there were relativley few islamic terrorist movements occuring. However, there were multiple Christian ones. Now it is the opposite, and there are many islamic terrorist movements, and only a handful of Christian ones.

The attacks because of the IRA and such in ireland, were not always confined to Ireland. Attacks were carried out by sympathizers, and supporters in other countries too.

I agree... They had NO right. it's sad when one has to belittle the faith of another to 'win' an arguement...

Sometimes,..I am thankful that Jesus will be my judge and not my brothers.

Thanks for the comment StoveBolts it made me feel better. I'm happy Jesus will be the judge instead of my brothers.

I see just a lot of blind eyes. Everyone is willing to point out the flaws of others, but when their own flaws are pointed out, it is "ohh well they aren't really a Christian" or "well the other group does more"

Murder is murder is murder. Terrorism is terrorism is Terrorism. Wether it is 1 person, or 300K people. Wether we step in because of oil, or because we are good people.

I know I have my faults, and I usually admit them. But many people seem to refuse to think that their side is anything but perfect.

9/11 is the biggest lie in history. If it wasnt for that america and co would be going on a crusade. No one is saying Jesus isnt perfect. All prophets are. People today are not perfect like Mr bush and Blair who say they have been told by God to invade Iraq. They are christians right?

Anyway it was prophesised by the Messenger of God as follows.

IRAQ and SYRIA

Abu Nadhrah says: "We were sitting in the company of Jabir bin Abdullah (R.A.) when he said: 'Soon the people of IRAQ will neither receive any food (grain) nor any money.'" We asked, "Why would such a thing happen?" He replied, "Because of the non-Arabs." (i.e they will prevent food from going into Iraq, in the form of "sanctions" to this day.) He then said: "Soon the people of Shaam (SYRIA) will neither receive any money nor grain." We asked as to why this would happen. He replied: "Because of the Romans (christians)."
