Popular teachers you are wary of

I guess that it depends on the teacher because for the most part, the so called prosperity messages have been very well balanced that I have read or heard. Now I have a question for you, do you feel that we as christians are not to be wealthy? OBTW I think I did read your whole post....Uh I am sure I did, well I think so any way.....Need Caffine !!:coffee
The OP asked which preachers we are weary of, I stated that I would not listen to anyone that teaches the prosperity gospel as in all Christians should be wealthy because that is a false teaching and no, I still would not listen to a preacher who teaches that. The focus is wrong - our focus should be on God and He said He would supply all our needs - so why not do that?

There are plenty of believers who are not wealthy in monetary ways, but are plenty rich in other areas - like, great teachers, excellent evangelists, good health, well behaved children, awesome marriages, people who manifest the Fruit of the Spirit. Their goal is not to become wealthy in monetary ways. I'm a believer, I'm a college student and no I'm not wealthy but I know the Lord and what more could I ask for!!
There are believers who are wealthy monetarily, too! The Body of Christ is made up of people from all walks of life. Praise God!!!!!
