Positivity only thread

Hey, guys. This thread is what its title says: a positive thread only. Post any positive pics, song lyrics, poems, anything you are doing that is positive. Just want to have a positive chat with you all here.

Now, what I am doing that is positive is watching ROSEANNE on Tvland. Love the show.

My wife made the most amazing spicy chilli I have ever ever had. Then we made hash browns and had eggs with it. Wow the most super yummy dinner. I don't even mind doing laundry right now.

I watched her TV show long ago, but it was voiced dubbed for German TV. So I never heard her original voice. But I used to like that show.
Hm, so you think you not having heard her in a while is positive? :lol
 
no its in jest. I kinda do the most annoying noise known to man from the movie dumb and dumber.nathan loves that when I do it. his favorite story is when I told him I got on the mic at tire kingdom and did that and it echoed off the post office. I did that for two minutes. NOW that was annoying,lol
 
I am making Lasanga tonight! Having Matt's parents over too! (They are more than parents, they are good friends. I'm lucky in that respect. :))

The other day we went out for spaghetti... and it sucked! And it was Olive Garden!

My cooking is way better that restaurant foods! [Everyone says that, not just me ;)] If you want something from a restaurant, I can find the recipe or make a better version of it myself. :)

Yeah, I'm bragging! :biggrin But in a good natured way. :)

Its hard to find a positive these days. Even my bank account is negative.

That's true. I am always seeing negative things out there. I hate negative anything.

Great that you get along well with your husband's parents!
 
Our God is an awessome God. He is so great He allows us to be negative and grumpy and still loves us. He included the unpleasant emotions in His scripture, and said there is a time for everything, even those things you call negativity. God has a kind heart for all of human nature because knows being positive all the time wouldn't be truthfull.
 
Fourth full day at my new job starts in one and a half hours. I am so psyched. It is the best job I could have ever believed I could get. So much better than the one I lost two years ago. Praise Jesus.

It I hadn't kept a positive frame of mind I would not have this job. I didn't really believe I could get it, but I thought (with encouragement from my wife) what could it hurt to apply. If I hadn't kept sending resumes out I wouldn't even had the opportunity. When I got called for the interview If I had let my self believe I wasn't qualified, and no way would I get it I probably wouldn't have, and may not have even gone. I saw (again with help from my wife) that hey just think of it as a practice interview. Never hurts to practice. So I went to the interview not nervous, but full of joy.

I had four separate interviews in two strait hours, because of a positive attitude. Each person kept immediately going to get their boss and rushing the process along. It was supposed to take weeks just to get a call back, but I got an actual offer letter the very next day. First time I ever got a letter offering me a job. They said they loved my infections attitude.

I am also super glad I have an awesome wife who reminds me not to get discouraged. Well off to work will check back in later.
 
We had friends over for dinner last night and my son had 5 of his friends over. The teens were supposed to leave for teen group at 5 except teen group got cancelled because of the storm.

So... we brought up the spare table, put a venison roast in with the lamb roast and ended up having 13 people for dinner!

It was a lot of fun! I drove the kids home and we rocked all the way with the latest CD from the group Red.

Trees were down blocking the road, but my son and I saw the coolest lightning and the clouds were glowing a greenish blue. I can't describe it as I've never saw anything as beautiful (as far as lightning goes) in my life.

When we got home the wind was really blowing so we went out into our field and just felt it's power and yes, it knocked us back a few times.

I'm thankful we were able to enjoy and stand in awe of the power and glory of our God displayed in His creation last night.
