[__ Prayer __] pray that I can just...move on...

Seriously. The Lord has gone above and beyond for me. So have my parents. It really is...time. Today, I had a little "episode" and my mom said "wow, you know, I'm glad there's nothing seriously wrong with you, like...I don't know...CANCER or something." Ouch. She has a valid point, of course. I'm healthy now, smart, remarkably....whole, even "normal," in ways that really matter.

Time to move on, for real. :) Thanks.

Hi Brother Christ_empowered, I suppose we have been down this road repeatedly, and until you can successfully exercise your faith, and begin
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, (Php 3:13), and start pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Php 3:14) you will continue to experience the self condemnation of unworthiness, and even blame others as thinking they are saying something against you.

I'm pleased I haven't observed you saying you hear everyone everywhere accusing you of being a felon even in fast food drive thorough lanes lately; that has to be terrible, but again I have to suggest buying even a cheap voice recorder of sorts to even prove it to you if it's you just thinking these things instead of reality, and that can be the case depending on the medication and dosage you're taking; please ask your doctor.

I continue in prayer for you and your family, and I do hope you 'll let us know how your mother is doing in her trial of her faith too. :wave2

thanks, Eugene.

Exercising my faith. That's something Verna's talked to me a bit about, and...I'm getting there. Its kind...hard to believe, isn't it? I probably had full blown AIDS at some point(s). Never been treated. Remarkably healthy now.

My sins were forgiven, starting 5 years ago, when I came to believe upon Christ Jesus. God is good!

They haven't done mama's biopsy yet, so I don't know much about what's going on. She's in good health, overall, plus they have been blessed with good health coverage, access to specialists, etc., so...I hope+pray that, should she need specialized treatment, she'll be able to get it, quickly. The Lord has blessed her with retirement, and I'm thankful. Now, she can pursue treatment, chill here at the house, do the professional stuff she's remained involved with, etc., and...heal, God willing.

Thanks again. :)

i can understand your concern several years ago they found a small spot on my wife with her yearly mammogram.. was i excited/concerned /worried? yes i was i prayed had the ladies of the church pray over her..then came the day of the biopsy.. inside i was a rack of nerves .
still praying the done the biopsy we got the news all clear. they put a pun as a marker . our local facility flagged it when she went back for the year.. we know go to cape about a hour and half drive.they have the records .
since then every yearly has come back nothing changed .. so to some degree i been in these shoes . i remember preaching the night i asked the ladies of the church to pray over her... in the book of acts paul was put on ship and the course they was taking was not good storms. paul knew this he was praying has the storms hit... he told them they would survive .even though the ship would crash... they took steps to keep the ship going throwing things over board they did not need. the lightened the load...
my advice to you keep the faith keep praying and God will lighten the Load .. yes my wife was worried her mom was a breast cancer patient at one time... our natural reaction will be of concern... it doesnt hurt to tell the Lord your feelings... he already knows them and no it does not make you weak if anything it will make you stronger . a class mate of mine faced same thing as my wife.. i had her call my wife and she told her story.. it helped my class mate face the giant . all test came back good for her.. the what if will always be there.. but keep casting all your care upon him .he does care for you and your mom..
i also highly believe in laying on of hands with anointing oil . its all Bible:amen:sohappy

Christ_empowered ,
I always enjoy reading your posts. You are an inspiration for many. You have over come so many obstacles in your life and your not afraid to give all that glory to God. As your name suggest, Christ has empowered you, and I believe he has great things in store for you. We were created for good Ephesians 2:10, and I believe he has, and is preparing you for some very special work tailored just for you.

We are here for you. I had to reconcile my good fortune in thinking about the same sort of thing. Yes, I have recently suffered from some very dark depression. And yet, during those dark suffering times, God helped me to be sensitive to the suffering of the world. Many of those sufferers will find little relief. I am nearly 100% well now. But others in the world still suffer. Join me in thanking God for our good health (as it is) and praying for those others in the world who suffer. Those like you and I, who have experienced a degree of suffering, should work (with God's help) to cultivate a heart for a suffering world. And pray. God bless you!
