The world is in a total mess today. And what Christians do is cry unto the Lord for deliverance. Perhaps God doesn't answer...HE gets embarrassed or surprised that we are making these kind of prayers. If we are really in the End Time, then we ought to always remember that the scripture tells us Perilous times shall come. So should Christians Pray today...against this evil time the bible talks about?

1 Thessalonians 5
17 pray without ceasing,
.

a good example, while praying with truman and churchhill (or whoever the leaders were at that place and time... )
the man of God did not say "God help us win".

but rather, God, bring to pass what is good in Your sight for everyone, and let us realize our part of it, let us do as we should as Your servants, and let us see and live Your Way.

"come quickly Lord Jesus" and let us see Your Deliverance and Your Salvation !

I dont think God is embarrassed or surprised we ask for deliverance after all how many times in the bible did Gods people cry out for deliverance and how many more times did he answer?

And trust me we SHOULD pray to be to delivered from the evil times known as the tribulation. I have personally seen what is coming soon in a dream and its gut wrentching and horrifying beyond any horror movie you have seen. I could tell you what I saw but I have to warn you its not for the faint of heart

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior" - 1Tim 2v1-3

You see...but would praying advert the perilous times?

Not saying it is wrong to pray tho...just that all these unpleasant stuff point out what that has been written and prophesied in the bible...which shall come to pass. I pray, at times I get confused just like my friend who says, no idea what else to pray. Thy will be done?

Only God knows the time and day of when He'll say 'enough is enough.'
So in the meanwhile, we Christians pray for His will to be done, and pray that our supplications will bring an easing to the turmoils that plague the world. We pray for those we know (or don't, in many cases) so they will have their hearts softened to receive the love from and knowledge of our Lord. So that they can join the family of our Lord. There is still so much work to be done in our Lord's name, for His purposes. We must pray!
