said o.o. helseth,house .old photo as i,thought it was being razed .in these photos you will see in the corner of the bethelem inc(church) photo of it in the distance a type of tree we call either wind breakers and or australian pines. these were used to shield crops and farms from wind damage. they do work but also cause soil issues, and are invasive. sadly these were all over and along the road up to the hill which i didnt photo. its a good indicator that groves were there at one time or a homestead. i do find older homes that have been hidden in them one such i mentioned. i have a photo of that the old helseth packing house. built in 1898. it is known as the o.o.helseth house, both it and the packing house of citrus he was a partner in still stand for now. that packing house was built in 1920 and additions were made. i need to get a east looking west pano of it and that is hard. us1 makes that impossible.

i have to use my lap top to post what it looked like in o.o. helseth's day .he held office for the city I work for and also petitioned the st.Lucie county to be formed out of Brevard .Nice looking house.
no ,it has a screen there ,its probably lookimg to be demolished .the drop is pulled and that's seldom good. usually a demo or in better case they do that temporarily .Wow no windows
