[__ Prayer __] Revival is breaking out !

How is… Your question says all that needs to be said about your heart.

A sinful judgment?

Strange.
You're judging my heart; God alone can do that and it is a sin for others to do so. Not strange, biblical.

During the first great awakening in America 🇺🇸 converts were often closely followed by local ministers for signs of genuine conversion. Not that the church was awesome back then but I do appreciate that aspect of the first great awakening.

One problem now is…who disciples people anyway? It isn’t just about the established church either. It’s about the lack of social connections the ties that bind or..did not too long ago.

This is not the first time for revival at Asbury , there also was 2/3/1970 when it started then .
Testimony is how it started .
A Revival Account Asbury 1970
"Students were required to attend chapel services three times a week. Asbury, in Wilmore, a city of 4,300 about 16 miles south of Lexington, is an interdenominational Christian college whose roots are in the Wesleyan tradition of the Methodist church. (John and Charles Wesley, brothers, were 18th century revivalists.)

On that Tuesday morning in 1970, Custer Reynolds, Asbury’s academic dean and a Methodist layman, was in charge. President Dennis Kinlaw was traveling. Reynolds did not preach. Instead, he briefly gave his testimony, then issued an invitation for students to talk about their own Christian experiences. There was nothing particularly unusual about that.

One student responded to his offer. Then another. Then another.

“Then they started pouring to the altar,” Reynolds said. “it just broke.” "

Testimony is said to be where it started this time in 2023 also !

First comment under a video I will post, the comment .
"After the praise team sang a few songs, they left to go eat lunch. While they were gone, a small group of students were hanging around & praying for one another. One guy started to share his testimony (with just the remaining few students) of how he attempted suicide a few years ago. But the Lord spared him and he was repentant and so grateful for God saving him from dying. Then the other girl said that is when the atmosphere shifted & the outpouring of the Spirit happened and fell in the place. She contributed it to the young man sharing his testimony in humility and repentance. The praise/gospel team came back to the Chapel from lunch and began singing again, as the students were still there. And the rest is history."

The video where the comment came from .

Our testimony of God in our life is a great influence on those around us .

I didnt "judge" your heart, however you may not be as discerning as you think you are.

So far, we can see that these students are sincere in their devotion to continue day and night to seek God, worship Him, pray, and repent.

There is a real outpouring of God's Spirit going on.

No matter what happens tommorrow or the next day or next week, God is pouring out His Spirit there.

If you can't see that, then please don't talk about discernment.

Yes, you did: "Your question says all that needs to be said about your heart."

Again, read and watch the material we've posted, including the most recent video I shared, which is quite balanced, but also points out reasons to be cautious about calling this a revival. Sincerity, emotions, and feelings never determine whether there is an outpouring of God's Spirit.

That is a sinful judgement on your part. I'll leave you to deal with that with God.
We are supposed to never doubt anyone who repents ,don't remind them ourselves if we have no fruits to examine if we truly believe .

Ah,ironic .the majority of that older revivals were quite reformed.

But well two here will say that isn't truly a revival because it was Calvin .it should be noted in a few 24 hour services held by Whitefield and how local it was In his revival .

I don't think you know what a revival is.

I don't think you know what a revival is.
Oh I do.
Have you attended them ?

Have you worshipped from 7pm to about 10pm before any preaching and then had two hour sermons ? Plus one hour alter calls ?

That was a few of them led by an evangelist at the church who would come routinely and that was his style .

I've been watching the live inside too.
I just don't understand what the problem could be.

It's honest persons.
Singing, raising their hands and praising God.

The young have a God-shaped hole they need to fill.

Praise God
That's all I could say.

Yes ma’am.

This generation of young people in America has been bombarded with so much evil and immorality… God is answering the cry of their heart.

A simple childlike desire for Him.

Watching the video .
Interesting the pastors statements.weak theology .
I know they have bias .James 5 in part .no elders .

The parts in victim theology .my old pastors wouldn't teach that.they might rebuke that spirit of timidity but I have heard that is a sin to be repented by pentacostals.

I also agree on feelings .I learned not to do that .though I can still fail on that . The Brownsville is a good example .

This part from the seminary

Let's preach the gospel ..turn to your neighbor and say God loves you and has a plan for your life .

That is sad .their theology statements online were as water downed .

Hard pass for me.i like the deep stuff.

The sad part is the video of the former lesbian ?

I mentioned a prophetess .her son a Muslim told her I was In homosexuality.she wept and prayed and was led to rebuke me.

I was convicted and felt it in my soul .she read Romans 1:28.

She had me read it and then say what it was in applicatuon to me.

I didn't think I was a victim though I was lied to by Satan and the male person I was with.i had to repent .
