I.led my brother to Christ,he wasn't perfect in his walk ,failed a few times but has been productive in his walk .

He cried in tears .

Honestly I actually read their simplified sof at Asbury.

Students coming to learn theology ? Seriously I inquired of mine and my pastor sent me the wcf .and we quote it .
A seminary can't do more then the really over simple sof there?
I'm sure they have more but that is disappointing for one who if inclined want to dig into catechism.

Creeds and so forth .my church has copies of Wesleyan theology in books that they recommend.

Jason, I really fail to see what the above has to do with anything.

I stated that it seemed to me like those college kids were really interested in hearing the GOSPEL.

This doesn't mean that they have to know theology, although today's adults and young adults DO want to know MORE than their parents did. They want to know the reasons and have questions answered, etc.
Parents were more willing to just accept what the church told them.

Revival means that persons want to know about God.
They want to become close to HIM and get to know HIM better.
They feel a need in their lives that goes beyond material things.
Revival does not mean theology - that may or may not come later.

I can't read your link due to legal reasons.
Is something going on that I don't know about?
Or is it really just a 10 day revival going on?
In which case, I say PRAISE GOD!

Of course, but sometimes emotions get the better of people. People wanting to worship and not leave isn’t in itself a sign of revival. People driving across the country isn’t a sign of revival.


And that I have not done. We need to be careful to not call something a revival or a move of God if it isn’t. As I have stated at least a couple of times, caution is necessary, especially since there are several red flags. Time alone will tell what this is as the fruit is made known.

Any move toward God is a move toward God.

Revival:

  1. an improvement in the condition, strength, or fortunes of someone or something.
    "a revival in the fortunes of the party"


  2. 2.
    an instance of something becoming popular, active, or important again.
    "cross-country skiing is enjoying a revival"

It's not about DOCTRINE,
it's about the love for God.

Praying with you dear sister, that God would continue to pour out His Spirit on these young people, and protect them from those who might infiltrate these meeting with ungodly motives.


May the outpouring of God’s Spirit spread all over America, and the world!

Because Oneness churches are here.three of them in my county by me.

These held revivals .

So if it's not God then Allah and this happens is Godly ?

Who cares about oneness churches or this denomination or that denomination…. This seems to be all you talk about Jason.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks!

God is moving in a mighty beautiful way in the lives of these people.

Why can’t you rejoice and be glad for these young people?

Why are you so bitter?

You need to forgive and let go of the past.

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; Hebrews 12:14-15

Our Father in heaven, we pray for this mighty miracle at Asbury University. Place your hand of protection on it and overshadow it. Take it to its full potential. Let us not do anything to tarnish the simple and innocent work You are doing. We ask all of this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.​

No bitter .

I got saved .I told one person ,she being a prophet guided me to read my Bible .warned me of a sin I was in and told me of a weak theological church I attended .

She warned me of persons who can lead me astray .know my Bible .

It's not too much to ask that .

I'm only mentioning oneness to point out that not all charismatic happenings are legit .

I don't hear oneness being there.if you can't see that .

Let‘s pray in agreement these meetings won’t be corrupted by any man made agenda.

That God would glorified and these people would be blessed with the Presence of God, that would transform their lives.
