[__ Prayer __] Revival is breaking out !

There's a lot more than just going to a big Church event and singing.

You have to apply Christian teaching to everyday life. Praying, asking God "How can I serve you today?"

Over the weekend I saw this video on people walking right by a kitten crying for help in the rain. People were just walking right by the poor thing, and finally someone came to help him. The guy happened to be part of an animal rescue who took the kitten in, cleaned him up and he needed an IV. The guy later adopted the kitten himself but sees this happens too often.

The point is however is that there is seemingly a short supply of people like this and I don't know if any of those people who just walked by the kitten were religious or not but that's the kind of everyday thing that happens when people are not listening to God. And there are people who supposedly are Christians but they lack a real connection with God.

It's one thing and it is a good thing that people are seeking out Christianity, that's only part of process and some don't really go beyond that process. I don't know whether the teacher at these revivals can really help these people through that process. I'd hope they would do this.

It's really up to the people seeking God out to grow and really gain a communication and relationship with God.

And be properly guided to a church .

I could feel the Spirit there

Yes ma’am.

Anyone can watch and open their heart to God, and sing along with them and be blessed from the Spirit that is being poured out.

Of course the hard hearted won’t benefit from it even if they were there.

Only if one is taught .if they repented and no one actually has guided them a home church that is solid.they won't learn or stay.

It's not me.my self as elder,pastor and member .

There's a dearth of the biblical basics in the west .

59 percent agrees that Jesus isnt the only way in evangelical churches

Hi Wondering
So good to see you

I didn't have a link in my post ??
YouTube won't show it here in Italy.
But I doubt it has anything I don't know about.
I've seen enough videos on this and can't see what all the fuss is about.
Those persons look very honest to me.
I think any move toward God is GOOD.
Eventually it'll have to stop because it's on school grounds.
But just the NEWS about it alone is serving a good purpose.
Society is forgetting about God.
It's good to remind it about Who created everything.

They are very sincere, however most legitimate revivals begin with a true move of God, with much fruit, then people begin flaky, ungodly, fleshly things and because their is no strong godly leadership, the revival becomes carnal and fleshly, with agenda driven motives to profit financially from it, or bring attention to man, and the Holy Spirit withdraws.

I hope we as a community will come together in agreement and pray for God to protect the purity of this move of God and be glorified by it.

Amen.

Right.
It's not the late 80's or early 90 's or even the 50's.
We're in this new post-modern world and I don't know that anything can be as before.
But, yes, we should be praying , not putting the movement down.

The young need to see that there are others like themselves, that they aren't alone and that it's OK and good to praise God.

They're ostracized in every university except the Christian ones.
This should happen more - I hope and pray God is in this movement.
And if it should end, it still was a force for the good.

It got to be on the news - and many young persons saw this.

Young man‘s testimony of his discussion with the Pastor, who refuses to let “Big Name” people have the mic.

“Todd Bentley, Todd White, Crefelo Dollar, need to be here, they need this, they need Jesus, they don’t need the mic.”

AMEN!!!!!

I believe once someone has been touched in a powerful way by the presence of God they will forever realize they can have that as a lifestyle and continue to pursue the living God as never before.

This is a good point. I was powerfully baptized in the Holy Spirit very early on, and quite frankly didn't even know what to do with it. I was still young to the faith and not raised as a Christian, so I had no CLUE about what to teach or even what most of the Bible was even saying yet. But I knew the Holy Spirit baptism was real, so I proceeded to dedicate the rest of my life to finding out.

That was 37 years ago. I'm still increasing in my knowledge of the word to this day, at an accelerating pace now, and I think an increased outpouring will come with that eventually as well. And when it does I will know exactly what to teach now. I can't say as I might not have done the same even without the baptism because I love the word and have since Day 1, but it solidified my love for the truth even more so, especially for trying to understand the word of God from a 1st century perspective and not a 21st century non-Pentecostal one.
