riddle of the day

I tried that one reba posted and that wasn't too hard.

i have a riddle but the weight part is going to be hypothetical.
If the earth weighed a 100 lbs, Adam weighed 100 lbs, and Eve weighed 100 lbs, where is all the weight coming from? (Since there are over 7 billion people on earth today)

Air

No, jasonc. The scenario is everything on the planet is included with the earth so air would be a part of the 100 lb weight of earth. Try again. :wink

Even though our masses are 100 lbs, the earth weighs 100lbs.ok I say the human soul.

Gravity has no weight.it's the manner which mass is measured.the term gravity it the measurement of the tendency of things to pull towards each other.

Nope, this one is not that easy. maybe I am being too hard on you all. It took me a long time to figure this one out. If I give a hint I would be giving it away. Perhaps asking a child the riddle cause I felt like one when i realized the answer.

Water weighs 8 pounds per gallon.

Dangit. I know I shouldn't have skipped school that day. I've got the feeling that this is an easy one...but it escapes me. Grrr.
