It does have church appearence.old photos show it by itself.I know where that it is.I will get the mural by it too.

There's some digging I must do for the theater by the old bank
A coworker worked there until it closed and rattled off things I forgot. Ie it was a play theater as evident by a stage ,first and had a orchestra pit.I remember the wood covering over that.there are also the carbon rods for the projector and the projector it self.I will find the images of one and post

Plays, movies, orchestra pit .... that's like the Virginia Theater in Champaign. Quite amazing, to attend a performance where there's actually an orchestra in the pit, in a smaller city as opposed to New York City.

This wasn't the first movie theatre.that was near the rr tracks

Not a movie theater? Was it adapted later on to show movies?
Yes.after the first theater was to small and often had problems.it was the size of a house.it stood for some time.I wish had its location on commerce avenue.

The florida theater had a changing room with a prop room.

The Virginia has a basement complete with dressing rooms, prop rooms, make up rooms ....... I was surprised by just how many rooms there were.

These structures need to be saved!

Cool! With 7 meters in use, the building isn't being ignored. Yea!
