Makes one wonder what was 'wrong' about the old Riomar Club House to make the owners decide to demolish it, doesn't it.

I suppose they built something bigger?
The school that used it moved to the upper school and it sat for a few years.sadly this was a historical registered building.it was razed for devolopment.it was old and need to have asbestos removal done

I know it's costly to have asbestos removed.

Yet ,it's federally funded for repairs to keep a historical edifice.this was on the list.it was within walking distance to the home in my avatar.it's a decade older.older photos show it having its own water tower.

It's just sad that private fundraising can't be done to help offset some of the expenses of keeping these historical buildings in shape. Unfortunately, many historical sites and museums, etc., experience funding problems. So sad.
