Route pics

Be careful when traipsing amongst the ruins. This is especially true when you're alone.
I was, I was leaving and looked down to see if there were obstacles and noticed two foundations near the old water pump station. I knew that there were two buildings here. and I found there foundations.
 
The piping with the remnants of a pump house weren't used by the navy but are nearly that old
 
I feel like I have seen the brick house before...I like it.

Do you know what those things are on top of the cisterns? It almost looks like a hose or pipe should hook up there, and yet not?

vents. yes you have seen the Hallstrom house I have posted it via google earth and the web page. but they didn't have the barns so I wanted to post the twins.(really triplets as there is one more)
 
Why haven't the foundations been removed?
its costly to do that and no plans at present to develop that. that has been discussed on the ww2 web page.i could post the lake city images of the ww2 stuff and how they let some buildings stay and others. the white building I posted was once mentioned for razing but the airport manager said its in good shape and rather then raze it its just as costly to repair and maintain it as it is to raise it. they build it with concrete and its really solid
