Route pics

the top is of one of about twenty blue an red crabs that were out when I first walked up to the condo, the next one is an abandoned homeless camp that was used when I first red this route. the last one if of a mangrove.

Colorful crabs!

Mangroves are rather interesting trees. There's nothing similar in the Midwest.

Is the homeless camp truly abandoned? It doesn't precisely look that way.

Excellent photos!

there were tents there, the tarps were rain/sun blockers . it also a cooking area, sleeping bags were in the tents. yet I never saw any person. one crab, the others were spooked by the time I got close to take that pic. I wanted to get some good ones. lets see. big blue is visible and here this seems to have the message of I don't belong here.

the top one is the one that says I don't belong here and see if you can find big blue. if I had more time and a good camera, I would make a statement with the later one. this is the end of the jungle club route. you can see the yachts, boats of Fairlane Harbor

I had to look up the Jungle Club, to see where it fit in the overall scheme of things.

It was surprising to see I could sign up for a free 1-day guest membership to try the various workouts and services.

lol.I should have taken a pic of that. there is some memories of that place, back in the day it literal like gym in the jungle. 6th ave back then had not much of development south of 12th st. so it was groves to the north and few townhomes. the tennis courts and the pools were in the woods but now that is all cleared. if I could show an arial that would show that it would be noticeable. the owners have switched since then. the jw's used to rent the place on Saturday night for fellowship. swimming, raquet ball and tennis and food. good memories. usually done about late august of each year. there were still doing that in the mid 90s there.

ah, well pray for the new routes to be done tomorrow. I have leisure square, mike has the doughnut shop-high school route. and aaron has the pines route,f you look that up you will get stories of areas near round island which is nowhere near that route in question.

Their web pages were still jungle themed ... but there's weren't enough pictures to show much around the various areas.

What a history the place has!

Prayers are offered for you, Mike & Aaron. (Do you think Mike will pick up some doughnuts for the 3 of you??)

I have never been on their webpage, but I have worked out there.

lol. google tastyo-doughnuts. it might be online, the original owner was a cop for years and sold it when he ran for county commissioner. he left town a few years ago. he isn't missed but his tastyo is to die for. I might be tempted to go there to get some sugar.

Have you worked out/swam at Leisure Square?

(They need to update their site .... I rather doubt the monthly membership rates from 2011 are still in effect)

I will post the pics of that place tomorrow for sure. I would be rather poked at if after class I walked that place taking pics. I know where the y was and what is original to the Y its not changed. the pool is from the Y and so forth. the added the soccer field and the gymnastic building.

which page is that? I looked and found nothing but an fb page.
