oh the air strip was over the hill at one time. it too is gone.

it was grown over even before the fate that the first hospital. I literally lived across from it an forget it was there. I will later on pull up the Arial of say 70,71 to show it. 1986 was when that air strip was last used

How close was the air strip to the airport? (Sometimes near proximities can cause air strips to become obsolete)

it was built close. it was for crop dusters

If the airport becomes busier, it's more of a challenge to also keep an eye on traffic at an air strip.

no, money. this was ran by a ww2 vet of the vero nas an was the first flight school after ww2.

It can be amazing how things change over time. The old maps really are great resources to see the past and compare it to the present.

I'm able to zoom in . I always see something I wasn't aware of before.
