They were a very involved family, weren't they!

Quite the contributors to the growing community!
Schlitt painting ,Schlitt electric. Like any family I mentioned that has been here long enough they will branch out.ie the Sexton. The last of Waldos children has passed.

Wow! Talk about fascinating!
I'm not sure if they got the names right.the place where they talk about that is haunted is jaycee beach.there a restaurant there but thats the sea burger originally and the place where The mountain is a city recreation place.I have been to both places.I'm verifying this

The majority of the scenery is Vero beach circa 1983.I made out the terminal before the new one, part of the tarmac behind it viewing the old control tower.a brief shoot out scene at the house I know was used and at the time derelict.it was built in 1926 and restored.I have to photo it it was hidden in a bunch of Australian pines and oak trees.

What a nice historic snapshot of 1983'ish Vero Beach!
I remember that being filmed. I uses to work on the west end runaway east west which is used on a scene in this clip.the control tower former location is a spot I have driven out to numerous times and have taken photos from.

With your memories of the site, along with being on location numerous times, the clip makes it all the more personal for you. The past overlayed with the present....cool!

I.was wanting to find some old clip of the house .it was an enigma to me.when they filmed this it had work done on it and lights on for a year.you woukd have loved the house.the airport at this time had no airport west dr,airport north was acessable from us1. ThE rr tracks were in part still there.oh what else.ah the fencing on 43rd ranch style some of which I still find.

It must have been interesting working on the site where there is so much history.
John hasn't talked much about despite being to one place I have walked and driven to .it is not far from that screen shot image .the old ammo storage from Vero Nas was around untIL the mid 90s.he has seen them and I told him what they would look like .I spent many hours in ww2 era ammo storage units. He said they are as I said they were.

He knows the stories as I do .

A few people who live on the former Chanute Air Force Base (Rantoul, IL) have told stories of seeing airmen who weren't really there (i.e., 'ghosts') ... who have heard voices and other noises in some of the residences on the former base. With such properties having a military-related history, it's always a curiosity.
