Ah Henry Gifford and the story of Gifford .I never told you that he fought the rr here and in spite the town of Gifford was formed in 1896 by the Flagler line.Blacks were hired to work on the line and Gifford had a stop first before Vero because of that.

I heard that Gifford was a black town uses for labor but I wasn't sure as I can't find it.This was posted by a person who knows the area history and my fil and Col Young also tell the same tale.I know that Gifford was prior to Vero beach.

its guest house is south , that gate is on all three homes but the guest home. I haven't photographed the other.

The property tax is reasonable for the size of the house and grounds.

The more I've thought about it, the more I think the property taxes are too high for that particular house and grounds. I mean, after all, it doesn't have a guest house................
