Route pics

Will she be replaced by a parking lot...or by something more interesting?
I'm not sure .the nursing home to the west owns this and has a sales trailer to the north .I say make a craft center out of it or maintaince shop.they took out the other old gas station and the winged edifice aka Kane's appliance.I have mentioned this place before.

The building could have been adapted to a craft center. The large windows would have provided good lighting (to a point). But perhaps the remodeling costs would have been too high.

Excellent!

I enjoyed them all. (Of course, I like the palm tree-lined road!)

Many of the photos remind me of Illinois.
I have one or two mysteries to solve on this route.the loNE odd tin roof in the woods is a mystery .that is north of the greenhouse.it's probably was a pump house, three are one this route and alike but more open.that means where I tool it was a grove.I'm unable to verify that. I will show the tax page and explain later.the palms are all date palms.the barn is the owner of a organic farm.the other mystery is the odd and the tiniest spanish revival home I found.I looked it up built in 1935 and not much else is available. It's hard to see it now .I will post the tax page view and you can see the old gal with the modified roof.

All of the plant pictures....all I can say is 'awesome!' (And I don't use that word lightly!)

The former Tire Works building....sad to see the disrepair.

It was also a gas station some time ago.it has the tank vents.

The style of building is a big identifier that it originated as a gas station. Am just glad that the building's usage evolved over the years so it was occupied as long as it was. Buildings need people!
