View attachment 7164 the home tucked in those palms or so it appears, may not be that old
yet I have not seen kids there , in fact its in the middle of a bunch of green houses. though the owners live on the property. they have been there for ages. Now that's a fun house!
it is indeed old. I wasn't sure as it has newer look with the wood siding. but its 105 years old. it has two other twins to the north of it. I have verified this via the county taxpayer office.Perhaps the house isn't that old.... but it surely is settled in a beautiful landscape!
this is totally woodframe. I wonder if it was part of the olso community its not far south of the cemetery. there are few more to the south to photo. one of them just north of the home I posted last night. two in fact. those four homes all built by the same family. That's the age of one of the homes I owned, rehabbed, & sold. Beautiful dark wood throughout. That was a lovely home.
common story here.oslo had its own po, rr flag stop, school system and store. I think up to the 40's each town had its own dump(that was really up to the 50's) http://insidevero.com/2014/05/10/the-thompson-name-is-imprinted-in-local-history/I've always found it interesting how a family can build homes in a cluster, so that the family can remain close.
