The anchor it's older then America as a nation
Spanish galleon anchor. There is talk of a rewrite of history here.big time it's possible that Hernando Desoto not ponce de leon landed on the east coast first. There is much I'm readingSimply toooooo cool!
Uhm no these were captured and converted Britt ish vessels for the spanish crown .Google this 1715 fleet, treasure coast florida.the anchor is from those era ships that sank.it was found near jaycee beach.Google Indian River shores,fl Web pageThere's also the possibility that it wasn't a Spanish crew on that galleon as well. During the English raid on Cadiz, as well as during the Armada battle, several Spanish galleons were captured.
I have gem island tommorow. The heat is unbearable. I plan photographing graves tommorow on dove plum roadAny way it's viewed or thought, there is so much history along the shores of Florida.
100 plus. The anchor route. The one with the Lamborghini was brutal. I wanted more pics but a roving eye candy on rollarblades was a distraction.I dare not be seen taking pics.the home in the back ground is what I wanted.there is alot of modern spanish revival I have yet to photo.the gates you loved is a view of one.that is a large condominium. I was leaving the hall from the meter room when I took that.I know the heat & humidity can be a real problem in your area.
You'd not mind the temps in my area .... warm enough during the day (but not over-powering), with Autumn temps in the evenings/nights.
Never really paid much mind to them. They are open. I haven't examined them. There's just something compelling about well-designed iron works. (Not sure if the gates are wrought iron; they look to be more substantial than wrought iron)
The church there is mine. They have it on fbHow serene that first photo is!
That is postcard perfect!
