Bible Study Satan Is The Wrath Of God

How can that be if I am quoting scripture. Why dont you show me the scripture that I'm against, and we can discuss it
I don't wish to discuss it. I know what I believe in. The Holy Spirit is from God. And I don't think this discussion should continue. You are offending God with these teachings. I won't be coming back to this thread because I have no wish to encourage it.

this thread is full of foolishness false claims false teaching my suggestion shut it down permanent or my next post i will call a spade a spade . i may disagree with Jim but at least he uses true scripture to back his belief up .. this dude is out in left field and has no clue where home plate is

I havent offended God. But its obvious I have offended you. You have a choice between walking after these verses or walking after your feelings.

This thread is full of the Word of God. Apparently more than some of you can handle. But it is still the Word of God.

God called me sort or the way He called Paul.

Well then, the Lord Jesus must actually be God then. Because it was the Lord Jesus (and the Holy Spirit using Ananias) who called Saul to ministry!

And he said, “Who are You, sir?” And the One said , “ I am Jesus Whom you are persecuting. But arise and enter into the city, and it will be told you what thing you must do”.
Acts 9:5-6 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Acts 9:5-6&version=DLNT

And Ananias departed, and entered into the house. And having laid his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me forth— Jesus, the One having appeared to you on the road on which you were coming— so that you may see-again and be filled with the Holy Spirit”.
Acts 9:17 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Acts 9:17&version=DLNT

And notice, Scripture shows Paul being immediately filled with the Holy Spirit, not searching for Him for years.

But you carry on, I’m sure. I’m going to shower.

Sort of, he is the wrath that comes from breaking the law of sin and death.

Since he will be burning in the same everlasting fires that those who break the law of sin and death will, it seems the wrath of God is something different.

Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41

However, I think I understand where you are coming from.

Here is a scripture that may balance what we both are saying.

We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18

There are different ways of being called. Just like there are different ways of receiving the Holy Spirit. Paul wasnt called the way Peter was. And the other apostles. And none of them was called in the last days. Your comparison is lacking in knowledge. You wasnt called the way Peter was, you wasnt called the way Paul was.

Nice catch!
I don't see how you guys can read these claims from the OP, it makes my head hurt before I can get to the third line.
I admire your determination!

Are you offended at the Word? That is a good sign that I'm sharing the truth.

.

It's a good sign that you are being contrary to the Body of Christ, His Church, by mishandling the Word. No one here is fooled by any of it, not even a new believer.
People here know God! Another voice they (we) will not follow.

It's pretty awesome to see this community so steadfast; God can do great things with a group like this!

They are banning together just like the Pharisees did against Jesus and Paul. They accused Jesus of the same thing. And Paul. In the same manner Jesus and Paul quoted lots of scripture, and the Phraisees didnt have anything from scripture. So they just got sarcastic also. All I can do is feel sorry for them.

[Jhn 3:34
[34] "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

Its all right there in front of you. The child is Jesus. That was the reason for the war in heaven.

[Rev 12:1-5, 7
[1] Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
[2] Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
[3] And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
[4] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
[5] She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. ...
[7] And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

John is shown a great sign in heaven as he sees a vision of a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. The sun is representative of the glory and brilliance of Gods righteousness that surrounds her and protects her. Under her feet the moon which is illustrative of eternity, light, Gods faithfulness in His Son Jesus who is the greater light of the gospel age as Jesus being the light of the world that shines in darkness, but the darkness can not comprehend the light, Psalms 72:5-7; Isaiah 2:3-5; Jeremiah 31:35-37; Isaiah 30:26-33; John 1:1-5.

The woman is symbolic of Israel and the congregation of Gods people as she wears a crown of twelve stars which represents the twelve tribes of Israel that have repented of their arrogance as they felt they deserved Gods favor, but yet kept killing the prophets God sent to them, including the very Messiah they were waiting for. This is when the times of the Gentiles began as God went to them to take Himself a people that were humbled enough to receive salvation as God had mercy on them, Matthew 23:37-39; Acts 15:14; Romans 11:25-27.

Paul also warned the Gentiles against being lifted up in pride because they had been favored by God with salvation as he explained the blindness of Israel would not last forever as when they see the Gentiles now having favor in the Lord and being grafted into the branch of Israel they repent of their sin and turn back to God being once again found in His favor, Romans Chapter 11.

The true congregation of God can be symbolized here as a mother that has all here children gathered in one place for safety which in this case is under the wings of the almighty God, Psalms 91. She cries out like a woman in labor as the pain of her persecutions has become too great to bear as she waits to be delivered from her persecutors, 2 Timothy 4:18; 2 Peter 2:9; Colossians 1:13.
