Bible Study Satan Is The Wrath Of God

I said
All anyone has to do is show me in scripture. Thats what I'm doing.

We have been, but you claim to be your own island and one who knows everything by your own definitions of scripture as you claim the Holy Spirit is teaching you, but yet you are being taught by a Jezebel spirit unknowingly. I can see your passion for Christ, but Spiritually discerning the spirits you have a prideful one that is unteachable and pride always comes before the fall.

Nice catch!
I don't see how you guys can read these claims from the OP, it makes my head hurt before I can get to the third line.
I admire your determination!

I see it two ways. This thread could either be closed down for the OP false teachings as it should be, or that we try to present the Gospel in all truths to this guy and for those who come in not knowing the Lord yet or just very young in the word. It's a moderators call.

There's an important point, that I think is ancient. I'm not directly addressing the thread, but it is relevant and I think needs to be said anyway.

After a certain point, every Christian will have their own system of beliefs, their own world view, their own relationship with God. We can't really say anything about it until we know their whole system.

Unbelievers who are interested in Christ (pre-Christians) get confused by being barraged by small fragments of different people's systems, and truly can't make sense of it. Hopefully they don't give up, but come to the Light. We never graduate from our own need to come to the Light; not in this lifetime.

So much of theological disagreements are between people who don't really disagree, they just aren't aware enough of one another's systems to really know what one another are talking about.

So we need patience. And Grace!

I like the idea of there being an agreed upon set of basics, that we all understand the same way. Like in Hebrews 6. Yet even with some of the basics there, we've seen at least a few people that have differing views, even on those simple things.

We have one Shepherd. One Faith, one Hope, one Baptism.

Maybe we should look at content like what's in this thread, and develop a new appreciation for John 17?

This goes straight to Admin. You're doing a great job of presenting Truth, Sister! I appreciate it.

I wasn't going to point this out originally but I think under the circumstances I will just leave it all out in the open. I have unorthodox Christian beliefs, but even I have scripture to back them up, I just choose not to be open with them because honestly, I don't like it and can't handle it when others try to prove me wrong. And that seems to be the same thing with Squeaky. If you are going to openly post your beliefs that doesn't go with scripture, you have to be prepared for the outcome.

John is shown a great sign in heaven as he sees a vision of a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. The sun is representative of the glory and brilliance of Gods righteousness that surrounds her and protects her. Under her feet the moon which is illustrative of eternity, light, Gods faithfulness in His Son Jesus who is the greater light of the gospel age as Jesus being the light of the world that shines in darkness, but the darkness can not comprehend the light, Psalms 72:5-7; Isaiah 2:3-5; Jeremiah 31:35-37; Isaiah 30:26-33; John 1:1-5.

The woman is symbolic of Israel and the congregation of Gods people as she wears a crown of twelve stars which represents the twelve tribes of Israel that have repented of their arrogance as they felt they deserved Gods favor, but yet kept killing the prophets God sent to them, including the very Messiah they were waiting for. This is when the times of the Gentiles began as God went to them to take Himself a people that were humbled enough to receive salvation as God had mercy on them, Matthew 23:37-39; Acts 15:14; Romans 11:25-27.

Paul also warned the Gentiles against being lifted up in pride because they had been favored by God with salvation as he explained the blindness of Israel would not last forever as when they see the Gentiles now having favor in the Lord and being grafted into the branch of Israel they repent of their sin and turn back to God being once again found in His favor, Romans Chapter 11.

The true congregation of God can be symbolized here as a mother that has all here children gathered in one place for safety which in this case is under the wings of the almighty God, Psalms 91. She cries out like a woman in labor as the pain of her persecutions has become too great to bear as she waits to be delivered from her persecutors, 2 Timothy 4:18; 2 Peter 2:9; Colossians 1:13.

I have seen many people get deceived by the old testament.

[Jhn 10:1, 8
[1] "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. ...
[8] "All who [ever] came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

However, I do believe that Squeaky means well, but we should probably take Matthew 7:15-16 into account anyway. :bible

Not so, I like it if someone can prove me wrong. A deceived person does not know they are deceived. If they knew they were deceived they wouldnt be deceived. And posting the verses just shows my support from the Holy Spirit of what I say. But if they are going to prove me wrong it has to be with verses. I'm not carnally minded any more .

"Posting the verses" says nothing to anyone else if you can't explain your understanding of those verses. It's roughly analogous to someone speaking in tongues, with no interpreter. It might be an actual language, but nobody else knows what's being said.

Further, using Spanish as an example, the same written vowels used in English are all pronounced differently between the two languages; except "o," which can sometimes be the same and sometimes different, because English is like that.

So there's a point where just "posting the verses" is like a tinkling cymbal. What does it take to turn that into Love?

This is my last post on this thread, but I really wanted to address the biggest problem that I have with it and I'm sure that many others on here will agree with me. If God created Satan/Lucifer out of wrath, then why the heck did He send His Son to die on the cross for our sins? The Lord didn't set out to condemn the world. For heavens sake Christmas is coming up! Am I one of the few people left on this planet that remembers why we celebrate it!?

"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, for whosoever shall believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." I might be off on few of the words but I still think that my point is adressed. I don't see anything about His wrath on the world, I only see His love. He gave us the free gift of salvation. It's our choice whether or not we want to accept it. Okay,.. rant over. Tessa, I know that you said that you were done with this thread (and now so am I) but I still wanted you to see this.

That is the most honest answer I think I have ever heard. It is an unknown tongue, and it is the hidden language of the Holy Spirit. I post them to demonstrate how the Holy Spirit supports me in what I say. It demonstrates my love for the Word of God. It separates the born again from those in the milk.

[2Th 2:10-12
[10] and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
[12] that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

We are made in the image of God. Satan was made in the image of the wrath of God. Jesus was made in the image of the righteousness of God. We need to know this so we can make an informed choice. The old testament worshiped God in the flesh. The new testament worship God in the Spirit.

Grrr,.. it doesn't really matter what you say at this point! It's what the Bible says that really counts and Satan was NOT created in the wrath of God. He was created to be the most beautiful angel in Heaven. :wall And that really is all that I'm going to say to you. The only reason why I responded this time even after I said I wouldn't is because I don't want new believers to believe this nonsense! :angry3Sorry Ray and to all of the moderators and administrators reading this but it had to be said. :sorry2x

If you have something to say just say it. You dont have to apologize to me. You cant hurt my feelings. I crucified all my emotions. You do seem to be sensual . All you need to do is go to the OP and show me which of them verses are wrong.

I did write a comment but deleted it because I didn't know where this was going to be allowed to go, but since it has, I just wanted to say I was impressed with the reactions even before getting off the first page. Good job people. :thumb

Crucify emotions, called alone like Paul, Devil is a deity.....ugh

Everyone, including myself, are ever learning and we will make mistakes in what we believe to be truth and the Holy Spirit will always convict us of our error. We need to be humbled enough to say "I was wrong". I praise the Lord for those the Holy Spirit works through that have more Spiritual knowledge than I have that He sends to correct me.

To be quite honest with you I am rather ashamed of myself for the way I acted. Maybe he just doesn't know how he's coming a crossed.

The OT deceives no one as there is only one deceiver being Satan who as a roaring lion seeks out those to devour them by using others to twist and distort the word of God. Those who wear the full armour of God can not be deceived. 1 Peter 5:8; Ephesians 6:10-18.

Oh don't be too hard on yourself, as the entire thing is outrageous. Rebuking false teaching(and doing it sternly) does line up with how we are supposed to act. And yes, he knows exactly what he is doing.

Thanks. :) And I'm sure that God can handle Himself.
