the sidebar in my NIV says--(some manuscripts) 17:21-But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting

I don't know which manuscripts include or exclude it but there is no perversion here, it is clearly in the text on the sidebar for all readers to read, the same as it is in my KJV

i can read old english because my use of the kjv. those verse are the same in context, no one in modern english uses howbeit.
