Self Assurance Doctrines

I agree. But he don't see it that way.
You just follow your faith.

We all will be judged when the time comes.

I know most of you don't believe that Christians are already judged and will not be judged again.

this is another misconception of trin believers.

Do you have a scriptural reference to support this assertion that saying you are born again and/or saved is dishonoring God and Jesus' name?
Come on.

Jesus is the Lord of Salvation. He is the judge of the world and His followers.

do you need a reference for this?

Do you mean 'judged' as in 'condemned', or 'judged' as in 'examined'?

Perhaps you are thinking of a scripture or two that you can share with us.
What's the difference, if we are disobedient and we will be condemned. and If you are sincere servants of God and Jesus we will be saved.

Why is it so hard to comprehend?

Where is the misconception? You appear to be saying contradictory things—“We will all be judged;” “Christians are already judged and will not be judged again.”

We already had a lengthy discussion.

And it is meaningless to repeat the same thing over and over.

I would rather have anybody else to discuss who is sincerely interested in what I have to say.

I don't think you are one of them.

blessings.

Hopeful 2,

You have been claiming to be saved.
No, I claim to be converted.
I will call myself "saved" after I hear that my name is still in the book of life.
Why did you agree with my comment above?
"Your salvation is assured if you are being faithful to Him until the end."
That will be true, AT the end.
Man can't board a plane bound for California and say "I am in Calli" before the plane lands there.
Neither can we repent of all sin and be baptized into Christ and say "I have been found in the book of life !". before the names are read from it.

He claims to be born again. But he says no one is saved until they make it all the way through their life without sinning thus showing themselves to really be born again. And so because they are born again they will be saved at the resurrection and the return of Christ. I invite his correction if I have misunderstood his position on this.
You see my POV clearly.
If only you believed it...
The day of judgement will make it clear who "is" saved.

Jesus says you have to be born again to be saved.

So if you claimed to be born again, you are claiming to be saved.
How many fakers have claimed they were born again?
The day of judgement will make it clear who has remained faithful until the end of their life.

Claiming to be saved is an arrogant attitude that is so against Jesus' principles.

Get real friend.
I suppose we could say the same thing about "I am born again".
Self-evaluation need not be wrong, but it must continue until the end to be genuine.
