from the way you judge others, and don't let god judge them, I would say YOU are not a christian.

There are THOUSANDS of diffrent kinds of christians. Just because they aren't your kind, and belong to your church, doesn't mean they don't love jesus.

Some peopel believe in teh old testament, some only in the new, Some in both, and some pick and choose. God gave EVERYONE free will to do that, and it is their choice.

Yes, THe bible says that homosexuality IS wrong. No one denies that. It is the word of god. HOWEVER, the bible does not say anything about taking away the rights of homosexuals, or not allowing them certain privleges (marriage, civil unions, adoption, equal pay etc) (yes, there are sections that say marriage is between a man and a woman, and sections that say marriage is not good(thanks to whoever posted that scripture earlier))

I respect your views on christianity and Jesus, because it is YOUR choice, to be Christian, and YOUR choice to not be a hypocrite. However, Someone elese being a homosexual, has NOTHING to do with you. At all. YOu have every right to choose to be straight, to stay straight, to be married, to not drink or gamble, or fornicate before marriage. It is your right, as a good chrisitan to choose not to do that.
It Is NOT your right, to force others into your way of life.

Honestly everyone, can we all agree that the way to God, is to follow in the path of Christ? Is that not the whole purpose? Thats what I always thought was the path to God. Open your heart, and follow the teachings of Jesus.

Jesus never forced anyone to do anything. Jesus gave everyone chances, and allowed everyone an equal oppurtunity.
When will some christians follow in the path of Jesus?

The apostles all questioned Jesus, for a LONG time, and it took them a long time to follow Christ, and to believe he truly was able to perform miracles. It took them a logn time to open their hearts.
Calling a fellow christian a liar, just because he doesn't believe the same that you believe, or hasn't gained that level of trust yet, is not turning the other cheek, nor is it following in the path of jesus.
You pick and choose your scripture to follow to, Because if you didn't, you would have to do the stuff in the bible, that contradicts the other stuff in the bible :-P

When I was 9 till 15 I was called gay, even though I am completely straight. I was also bullied and ridaculed and had a very hard time, the main reason for this was because I had let jesus into my life and everyone knew I was a christian, there was no other christians to support me in my classes, everyone else was athiest or another faith. Oh how I wish sometimes I had not been christian, I could have saved myself so much bother and hatred towards me and constant upset, yes I had some friends but the ridacule was on a daily scale, only dieing down at age 16/17. Are you saying all of that was for nothing, that Ive never been a christian and my pain was pointless. How dare you, you dont know me atall. I pray to jesus, I love jesus with all my heart. I know my faith, I dont need soimeone to tell me what I am. And I will always be pround, oh and hey, if I really wasnt christian, why is it that I'm usualy involved at my local church and have good long chats with my local priest? And accepted into the christian community? Please, you dont know the first thing.

I don't attend church because there is so much hypocrecy in the churches. Just because one attends church does not make him a Christian. following Jesus and trusting Him untill you die makes you Christian. Christianity is not all about warm and fuzzy stuff. It is very hard. Did you read my testimony to sputnicboy? Do you know that many Christians in persecuted countries are dying for Jesus because of their loyalty and obedience to the Lord? Do you know that Jesus is saying that only a few find way to His kingdom? Do you know that Jesus also saying that just because you call Him Lord does not mean you are true to Him?

All that I am doing is protecting Jesus and His teachings. You stated very clearly you dont trust the whole Bible and Jesus' teachings. I just dont understand why you call yourself a Christian if you dont trust Jesus' teachings. You are not being honest here.

I think we were just brought into differnt christian communities. You're one doesnt sound very forging or understanding of the human mind to question. My god given right to question jesus. I am dead against homosexual behavior. But your last sentence is problematic. Temptation is not a sin. If it were then Jesus sinned when he was tempted in the desert. Someone who has a temptation toward homosexuality but does not act on it is ok, just as a single man tempted by an attractive woman, who does not act upon that attraction (as long as it is not lustful) does not sin.

It sounds like you are not really serving Jesus. Jesus tells ALL of us to make disicples of all nations, teach them to obey everything He commanded us. You are voicing your Christianity here and I am voicing mine. I have right to voicing mine too.

Yes I did. I have read the Kings James Bible, although I have to remaber the past king of england did get it changed, like every other english translated bible that exists. Even though I have read the bible, I use the translated bible by dorling kindersley, and I dont mind if people laugh at this but it makes things much clearer. Very peaceful and full of good advice that has made me into the man that talks to you today, and also prodvides the facts to back up the info, well most of it. But anyway can this stop now, do you have some big problem with me, I serve jesus very well. How do you know how well I serve him.

How can you be a Christian and you just said that God's Word is wrong, and you also said that you don't believe in hell. Jesus talked about hell a lot in the New Testament. From stements like that I can make a judgement that you are not a Christian yet. Because if you were you would have never typed those words. And I am not trying to put you down, believe me I'm not. peace4all did you not read that statement ? he just said, well God's Word is wrong. And that he does not believe in hell. That is not Christian I don't care what you say. peace4all are you a Christian ? And if you are do you believe those statements ? And if you are not a Christian, the Bibles says that if you don't have the Spirit of God. the things that we say are foolishness to you. Because you cannot decern them, because you lack the Spirit. But I don't know if you are Christian or not.
