Should I publicly correct my teacher?

Can you not see anything wrong with that? Is this lady your elder? I'm guessing she is. Do you think we all should respect our elders? Or should we call them out in public and belittle them?

It's good you asked that question here. My advice is for you to be very careful. I think there's a real possibility that if you go into that cjurch and disrespect that lady in that manner...you might just get knocked on your butt. Christian dad's aren't perfect, just forgiven. So you better be careful and maybe scope out the membership Dad's that you might have to face if someone there chooses to stand up for the kids! Be careful!

Dude, you are 17 years old. Walk softly and listen twice as much as you talk. Be respectful to the Teacher and to the kids.

You may or may not be right about your minor issue, but are you trying to set a bad example for those kids?

T. E. Smith ask a simple question in the OP if it was alright to publicly correct a teacher. All I have seen through this thread is others bashing him for asking a sincere question and questioning his age and being an atheist. He is very young, but yet growing in his own way and that needs to be respected for whatever choices he makes in life.

I see no respect of others for what he has asked in searching for a proper answer. Are we to push him away and condemn him for being so young and being an atheist, but yet with some Biblical knowledge, or should we be lifting up and edifying him in helping to answer his question according to scripture to help him learn.

I'm not going to go through 9 pages in order to delete the postings that are in violation of the ToS 1.1, 1.3 and 1.5, but if this keeps up I will close this thread.

T. E. Smith My answer to the OP is that if you have a problem with what a SS teacher is teaching then take them aside and talk it out with them. Teachers do make errors at times as none of us are infallible, but usually by talking things out in private then things can be resolved.

I don't think you're stupid. And when I said that you are ignorant of some things, that was not an attack. It simply means something you have not learned yet. No one expects for someone to know something that they've never been taught before! So there's actually no reason to take offense. You asked a serious question and was handed straight talk in answers. Consider that possibility that, that's what it was. I have nothing against you, I just don't like being pushed, lol I'm not perfect nor have I played the perfect one on TV.

We all just discuss here. You don't have to fight here. You don't have to push people. We're all trying to learn how to walk in love towards everyone. Somehow I think I may not the best at it yet, but my heart is in the right place or headed the right direction. And by the grace of God we can do it.

You know what I think? I think you should read some in the testimonies section. I have a bunch of testiminies in there and so do a lot of people. Good testimonies from real people. God is real and He is not the angry old vengeful guy that they taught me that He was, He's just not. He loves you too more than you could begin to comprehend. And I've had a sneaking suspicsion for a while now that, you know God is real waay down deep inside of you. So I've been trying to talk to you straight because time is short. Remember how you reacted when I called you atheist? I don't think you liked that and that's very cool. (be careful what you call yourself!) Labels can last a long time once created.
