Bible Study should women wear head covering and men wear beards ? proof?

You have explained what you think Acts 15:20-21 is not saying. Now explain what it is saying.
This is what I think it is referring to. What I already said.

It was the Jewish believers who said the Gentile believers needed to follow Torah. The council and Paul said, no they didn't, they only didn't to have those three instructions.
If the Jewish believers wanted to hear Torah they could go to the synagogues. (I would have advised them not to mention Yeshua though, unless they want to take the chance of getting throw out or worse.)

Blessed are the pure in heart not those with long/short hair wear a dress /slacks/// God looks at the heart. purify the heart..mission accomplished same goes with a man gnat straining

The issue in Acts 15 was NOT whether or not believers needed to follow Torah. It was whether or not believers needed to follow Torah in order to be saved (salvation by works) (Acts 15:1, 11).

Act 15:20 But that we write unto them (the Gentile believers), that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Act 15:21 For (because) Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

James is saying, let's impose four Torah commands upon these Gentile converts for now. They will eventually learn the rest of Torah as they hear Moses read. He is NOT telling Jewish believers to go to the synagogues to hear Moses read. They were doing that all their lives. James was giving his reason why only those four commands were to be imposed.

Purity of heart (mind) leads one to keep our Father's commandments out of love for Him (1 John 5:3). An impure, carnal heart (mind) fights against His commandments and will not be subject to them (Romans 8:7).

Obedience to our Father's commandments is a fruit of our salvation, not the means to it.

He fulfilled them all as far as obeying each one perfectly, but he did not fulfill them all to the point where they are no longer kept.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

He fulfilled the laws that pertained to his first coming such as the Passover lamb, wave sheaf offering, sin offering, prophet like unto Moses, etc. He has yet to fulfill laws pertaining to his second coming such as setting the captives of death free, him marrying a virgin, pouring out the latter rain, etc.
Your posts reads to me .. You have decided to disregard Mat 5:18 ... The law calls for animal sacrifices, you say Jesus only fulfilled part of laws ... the scripture says one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Who is man to decide which/if a jot or tittle has been fulfilled.. As you have asserted He did not fulfill them all...

I dont know if this make any sense to you, i am not finding the correct words...

And Yeshua gave us two commandments, which if one follows them they will do well.
Yeshua said, they fulfilled all the Law.
One could have only a NT Bible and be saved and live a Godly life.
Paul clearly did not tell the gentiles to be circumcised. Titus was not circumcised.
Gal 2:3 but not even Titus, who is with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised--mm

Jocor, I don't have any problem with you believing you should be circumcised, eat kosher, worship on the 7th day, etc. Why should I? God accepts us both.

Blessings to you and your family.

i can fix you all problem cover your hair never cut it wear dresses every day and by the way when you go to church please be quite woman are not permitted to speak up in Church .you must submit to your husband . problem solved

Sorry, but I still don't understand what you are getting at. Heaven and earth have not passed away. Therefore, neither have any jots or tittles. Some laws have been fulfilled, but that doesn't mean they passed away. The Scriptures make it clear that animal sacrifices have been fulfilled, especially the Passover lamb and sin offering.

One cannot possibly fulfill either of the two greatest commandments unless they obey all Ten Commandments. If we steal from our neighbor, that means we do not love our neighbor. If we worship graven images, it means we do no love YHWH.

Circumcision is not the issue in Acts 15. Salvation by works is the issue. Also, I do not believe I should be circumcised (although I am thanks to my parents). Nor do I think I should eat "kosher", but "clean". Nor do I think I should worship only on the 7th day. I can worship seven days a week. However, I should not work on the 7th day.

If I act in love as I love myself, I will not steal from my neighbor or do anything to harm him. Why would I worship a God that is not my Redeemer? That would be harming myself and stupid.
Also, I do not believe I should be circumcised
I thought you had said that in the past. Sorry, I should have asked.
Nor do I think I should eat "kosher", but "clean".
What is the difference? I don't mean that in a sarcastic way, I seriously don't know.

There are many aspects to Jewish kosher laws that are not found in Scripture like having two sets of dishes and two kitchens to be sure to separate milk from meat. "Clean" refers to eating only meat that YHWH designated as edible (clean meat as opposed to unclean meat). I follow the Biblical dietary laws, not man's traditions.

Clean shaven, balding w/ponytail thinks it would be nice if Jesus would pop back in for a time, clear a few things up, then get out while he can. Kind of a "drive by"... delivering the latest, in depth Newest Testament.

Unfortunately both sides make good points...as if I didn't have enough to worry about. :sad

Ok, I know what you are talking about now. :)

I wouldn't worry about it. We all see through a glass darkly. You know the Gospel, the Good News, and you know the two commandments that Jesus gave. The Lord will show you, in your heart, what you really need to know.

How long should the dresses be? :biggrin

Spirit says cover it up keep the temptation away stop contributing to this misery.
Flesh says take it off take it all off.

Indeed. And God knows the real heart of man... which is why we are admonished to live by the spirit rather than the flesh.
