I have a personal avatar that a dear friend made for me that I use on all the sites I post at.
I see in the FAQ that avatars may be limited to only ones that are approved for this option.
So ........ how do I get approved to use my avatar?

We recently migrated over to vBulletin, and this might be a generic statement that came with the board which we'll need to tweak. We have no policy or procedure for approving avatars. As long as it's not offensive or contrary to the spirit of the board, go ahead and use it. If we see a problem, we'll let you know.

A friend surprised me by making it for me when I made a comment that I was a small town Texas girl clinging to my bible and gun (in response to the idiotic comment Obama had made).
So, I've used the avatar she made for me ever since!
