I think roman catholicism is a very dangerous doctrine
I think people go to hell from that religion every day

NOT going to happen ..i told you where i stand there is a security in our salvation . truth be known find someone who doesn't believe in osas.. not living the way the should.. are you saved reply---yes . i like my side of the fence not many over there

People say RIGHT OUT that they could TURN THEIR BACK ON GOD and still be saved.

This is the question:
Someone that is saved can turn their back on God rather than continue walking with Him and being obedient to His Word. Obeying our Savior is the least we can do.

This is part of the answer (cannot post it all, sorry)
We all do it.
Even belivers turn their back on God.

You should go read the stuff I've been hearing.
You'd jump off your fence quick.
You don't belong on your side....

I'm VERY SECURE in my salvation...
As long as I stay IN CHRIST.

Maybe we're losing sight of what that means?

a true blue born again child of God will come back good grief look at king David had sexual relations with a married woman .she conceived he freaked out .. did everything he could to cover it up . called her husband home from the war . he wouldn't even go in the house . ok so send him to the front of the Line where the worst part of the war is.. adultery murder Lies . yet he was a man after God own heart .. man will sin man will mess up big time the Good news is two words Grace --

paul also wrote he has given US ALL THINGS
2 Peter 1:3

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

to totally ignore these scriptures throws up red flags . can i sin and fall short ? yes have i yes but then that Holy Ghost Rooster starts crowing ,

if we keep ignoring him our heart hardens.. i you anyone does not have the authority to say you lost your salvation
we go to them in love and the word try to restore them

most catholics I've known all my life put their faith in the catholic church and know nothing of Jesus, never mind a relationship with him
how does the church get you to heaven?
if it can't get you to heaven, then where does that leave all these people?

yeah, ive seen calvinists who love theology but Jesus...not so much...

and SBC people, same deal. Episcopalians...definitely. I don't think I've seen it much in Pentecostals, but I've only known dedicated Christians in the Pentecostal churches...I'm sure there are some tares among the wheat there, too.

What do you mean by "not many over there"?

More churches believe that salvation can be lost...this is because the bible clearly states this and has always been believed until John Calvin...1,500 AD.

Those on the narrow path, however, know the truth of who they are and why they are not called to follow a model of good behaviour to earn salvation (like other world religions aspiring to be like their master) but those on the narrow path are in Jesus and Jesus is in them.

The above is a girl I've known for about a year. She insists that we are not required to do good works because it would be glorifying ourselves instead of God. She's a believer of OSAS and has arrived at believing Jesus will save her with no effort on her part. In fact, she thinks that's prideful.

Paul wrote a lot about how we are to behave...in every letter he wrote. Jesus taught this. Why? So that we could learn to follow Jesus and save our souls.

As far as scripture that says we could be lost...
There's a lot of scripture that states this.

The Prodigal Son would be one.
He was saved and a son of his father...
He became lost....
Then he was saved again.

Luke 15:24
24for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.


The son was dead and came back to life.
He was lost and had been found again.

Tell her Jesus did good works, so we should do good works. Or you can quote Paul.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
