Like it or not we do share this planet with people that disagree with each other. It is only fair to try to get along with each other without trying to cram out views down each others throats.

The group bought the land legally. The land is NOT ON GROUND ZERO. Its is 2 BLOCKS AWAY, NOT ACROSS THE STREET, NOT NEXT TO IT, NOT ON IT, 2 BLOCKS AWAY.

The first Amendment secures that all American citizens have the right to the religion of their choice, the freedom to speak their mind, and the freedom to gather.

The 14th amendment states that no contract state/Federal or right can be withheld based on Religion or creed.


To demand that the government step in and stop the construction would be an act to forfeit those protections to the State/Federal Government.

Those amendments protect you as well, securing your rights to speak, gather, own land, etc. Disagree with the followers of Islam and be proud of your freedoms to do so. But respect them as your fellow citizens and respect their rights, as I respect yours.

there where never any plans to build on the sight of the world trade center. There were also no plans to build across the street. It was a suggestion the news picked up and ran, but the permits for the 2 blocks away location already existed when the controversy hit. Its all propaganda.

I've heard of it, its the Arabic word for "to Lie". We have an English word for that "to lie" and I can pull up Bible passages where God told his people directly to lie to people. Its once again propaganda to try and convince people to give up their protections from the government.

Ill just point you to the parable/ historical even instead. I don't like quoting scripture out of Context. Its in Joshua, the story of Jericho with Rehab.

Rahab lied to the guards and God spared her. The parable and apologetic reveals that lying to protect those of faith is ok. Infidel means the same thing as Pagan in Christianity. All non believers are Infidels and Pagans. The soldiers turned away from God to serve the now Fallen city of Jericho. Making them Infidels/pagans.
