Temporal Salvation?

No BB....it wasn't YOU.
It was a member that is no longer here.
And besides that member, I've heard others say that
no matter what we do after salvation, the blood of Jesus will
always cover us, no matte what.

This is a rather extreme view and not a proper representation of the biblical message of salvation.
God did His part.
We must also do ours.

Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Maybe not me, but this ne’er - do- well sure Sounds just like me .....I agree with all that stuff that you think is wrong....
“ God’s Part”was to Send His Son so that His Shed Blood would pay the price for our Sins
“ Our Part” is to “ Believe in the One that He sent”

We were created for two reasons—- to do good Works and to carry the burdens of others .....if we “ Believe in the One that He Sent” , the same Holy Spirit that blessed us enough to make us Believers will transform us into people that are eager to do both of theses things.....

The same Jesus That taught about the different types of Soil before the Cross said “ after” His Ascension ( and using His Chosen Vessel , Paul to say it) that the way to Be Saved was to hear the Gospel and Believe the Gospel

So far so good.

Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke 8:12

  • lest they should believe and be saved.

Jesus and Paul preached the same message of the Kingdom.

JLB

The Point God is making in Heb 3 and 4 is a very SPECIFIC ONE and has nothing to do with what you are referring to......God is saying to those “ with ears to hear” that if you do not Trust in God’s Promise to give you Rest if you Trust in Paul’s Gospel you are just as bad as the Hebrews that He Let waste away in the desert for 38 years because they ( just like those of today that Add to the Gospel Of Grace with their Works ) did not Trust God to keep His Word.

The book of Hebrews Chapter 3 verse 12-14 is teaching exactly the same thing as Jesus taught in Luke 8:13.

The same word departing from in the Greek is used in Luke 8:13 and rendered fall away.

It the same message.

Temporary believing = Temporary Salvation

Temporary Faith = Temporary Salvation

Temporary Enduring = Temporary Salvation

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2

Unless we continue to believe in the present, what we believed in the past is useless.

Unless you or anyone here has a scripture that says those who return to unbelieving are still saved, then please repent of teaching God’s precious people, heresy.

JLB

“ ...and who is it that endures? Whosoever Believes That Jesus is The SON of God...”

Those who continue to endure through persecution and tribulation and do not love their lives unto the death.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Revelation 12:11

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Revelation 20:4-6

Unbelief is a severe type of Disobedience ...it will damn
Disobedience is NOT Unbelief ....it will result in many bad things happening to you

Amen. Like being cast into hell.

GRACE IS God Riches At Christ Expense this Grace is not a reason to sin or a excuse to sin, but we will all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God , once we are saved God places a seal on us sealed until the day of redemption. there will be times we fail God and fail him miserably. the Good news is we can approach the throne of Grace with Boldness that we may obtain MERCY and help in time of need. does that mean we can choose a sinful life style and stay in it. the rest of our years and say we have Grace and its ok? NO

THAT ha been covered they asked if it was ok paul replied NO it is not.... we have the HOLY SPIRIT/Ghost WHICH EVER TERM YOU LIKE TO USE. both the same .the holy spirit is the comforter one that walks along beside us .also the teacher, the spirit of truth . who leads guides .i call Him the crowing rooster by the time peter denied Christ the old rooster crowed as a reminder . Did peter become unsaved ? he cussed i dont know Christ he lied even went fishing and others said we go a fishing to. Peter did not need to be saved again he just needed to return back TO HIS REAL ROOTS.. you might even say ol peter had some unbelief
this Temporary salvation is not found in scripture once again if a person fails to return back to Christ .odds are they was never saved. i have read articles of Christian singers saying they was leaving the faith even read a couple preachers same thing. they was apostates /darnell wheat ( tares ) .

a southern Gospel singer Brian Free has the testimony raised in church sang with several groups from his youth and adult. was convicted by the Holy spirit he was not saved. i have heard his testimony he has his own group brian free and assurance. there is how Christ works . no conviction no actions never saved

Says the king of dodging my questions.

Sorry Jerry, when you learn to engage in honest dialog, and show that your willing to address my posts and address the actual scripture that I constantly present, then and only then you have the right to demand what you yourself have never done.

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2

So let’s give it a try.

Based on this scripture, do you believe that people who no longer believe the Gospel are still saved?

Yes or No ?

GRACE IS God Riches At Christ Expense

Grace is the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of grace, that empowers us to practice righteousness rather than practice the works of the flesh.

Only the righteous will inherit the kingdom of God.

Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

  • Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?

Do you believe that Christians who practice unrighteousness are righteous?

Go back to my post and answer these questions then you will have the answer to your question.

This principle is also taught in John 15.

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:1-2

  • Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away

As everyone can see, these branches “in Christ” were removed from Him; no longer being “in Christ”.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12

Do people who have been removed from Christ, still have the eternal life they once had in Christ?

Yes or No?

Since I know you want answer this question like so many others, I have posted, I will answer for you.

No. A person who has been removed from Christ, no longer has eternal life.

To put it another way —

In Christ = Eternal Life

Removed from Christ = No longer has Eternal Life

If you have a scripture that teaches us those who have been removed from Christ still have eternal life, then please post it for us to examine.

My fear has been realized .....let’s see if I can explain “ Hyperbole” to you. It is a method of speaking whereby something can be exaggerated to make a point..... did you really think that Luther was advocating rape and murder on the scale of 1000 times a day?
I was using hyperbole in return to make my point.
Grace wasn't given to us so we can 'rape and murder a thousand times a day'.
Grace was given to us so we would stop raping and murdering a thousand times a day.

"11For the grace of God has appeared...instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age..." - Titus 2:11-12

So, instead of having (so-called) faith that grace makes it so you can live in sin, start having faith that grace makes it so you won't live in sin. Enter into the real Rest of God........stop living in sin.

"10 ...the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works..." - Hebrews 4:10

Until you do that you haven't entered into God's Rest. You are deluded if you think living in sin is living in God's Rest.

straight up your promoting your doctrine
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12

Yes or No?
show me the exact words been removed from Christ i keep asking for scripture with the exact words.. you never post them
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:1-2
so at what point does he take the branch away and it is the point of no return you said you had backslided and returned back to your previous ways. i cant say that i have ever returned back.. but i have made a visit or two .i took care of it. did that make you or me removed from Christ? yes john 15 has been used by many to prove a point.. but if you was to read secrets of the vine you would see john 15 in a different light. i don't find where it says thus saith is scripture Christ will remove you and you no longer have eternal life .. {can you show me scripture with them exact words? }

but if you was to read secrets of the vine you would see john 15 in a different light.
This is what I hate most.
You have to have privileged, secret insight and knowledge to see that the scriptures don't really mean what they say.
It's what finally got me off the fence about this subject.

why would a christian want to practice the above... how about to know to do good and don't is a sin
please post the rest of the scripture SUCH AS YE WERE past tense if your practicing the above your not in the kingdom
but all the above there is room at the cross for those 2nd corinthians 5:17 & 21 He became sin a sacrificial sin offering who knew no sin that we may become what????? so if we fall were no longer saved? 4 ever damned . still waiting on scripture with the above exact words

show me the exact words been removed from Christ i keep asking for scripture with the exact words.. you never post them

Here it is again.

why would a christian want to practice the above...

Because their flesh desires to practice these things, and they believe OSAS doctrine that says they can indeed do these things and still inherit the kingdom of God.

As the Holy Spirit has warned us.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Timothy 4:1
