Temporal Salvation?

but if you was to read secrets of the vine you would see john 15 in a different light.

Its no secret Jerry.

Those who are in Christ, must remain in Christ, or be cast into the fire and burned.

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6

God loves us and doesn’t want us to be cast out of Him, He wants us to remain “in Christ”. He has given us His Spirit, and instructed us by His word how we must go about remaining in Him.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

His Commandments are about love; loving God and loving our neighbor.

Obedience = Love

Disobedience (sin) = Hate

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15

Those brothers who hate, no longer have eternal life.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

15 Everyone who hates (works against) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer [by God’s standards]; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15 AMP

15 Anyone who hates his Christian brother is really a murderer at heart; and you know that no one wanting to murder has eternal life within. 1 John 3:15 TLB

have you even googled the book secrets of the vine what it talks about.. then the prayer of jabez . you have a thousand excuses for not giving scripture with the exact words temporary salvation Christ will remove you

Sorry Jerry, when you learn to engage in honest dialog, and show that your willing to address my posts and address the actual scripture that I constantly present, then and only then you have the right to demand what you yourself have never done.
lol i have given my answer through scripture ..you might think your king of the forum but your not. you cant even give me a scripture until i see scripture i requested i can not answer your question or should i say will not .

some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Timothy 4:1
that what it says but i still need scripture saying temporary salvation
Matthew 24:22-24
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. who is the elect we are

Nobody who wants to remain saved can be deceived.

I don't know why the analogy of the vine, also used by Paul, is not sufficient:

“Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

22Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off." - Romans 11:19-22

israel was cut off due to unbelief in Christ as the messiah

So that’s your “theory”?

Because you read someone’s book of secrets, now the plain and clear statement ... He takes away, doesn't really mean, He takes away?

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away...

Thanks for exposing where your doctrine comes from.

How unbelievably sad.

Bingo!
And Paul says it won't be any different for us either.
But instead the church arrogantly thinks that's not true.
The very arrogance Paul warns against in that chapter.

the book secrets of the vine is about the degrees of fruit bearing and a very interesting bible study .
I'm sure it is.
But if it says that you are still abiding in the vine despite being cut off from the vine then it is making scripture not really mean what it says.

same as the prayer of jabez
Honestly, not interested.
I remember when it was popular, and then was not.

Nothing here about believing part of the word.

These “fell away“ or “stumbled“ in which they turned away from Christ because of persecution.

These “endured” or “believed” for a while then departed from Christ.
Is Christ the "Word"? Yes, we agree.
I see this stumbling, this falling away with people when they "believe" a certain part of the Word........but not the right part of the Word.

Why did Jesus even tell that parable if the good soil people are eternally secure? To show you that you have been given the Spirit and you will produce.

See, you are I are just looking at it from different angles.

I think I mentioned if you see something..........you can't unsee it. That is how being given the Spirit works. If you have been given the truth and you ASK, SEEK, KNOCKED. Matthew 7:7-8 You can't undo that revelation.

Jethro and You: John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth

There are people that will have the TRUTH forever and this shouldn't be ignored!

I understand your concern for people falling away, but people fall away and you can't change that. All the people with hearts that won't receive the TRUTH, they won't receive it........They won't.

That is how being given the Spirit works. If you have been given the truth and you ASK, SEEK, KNOCKED. Matthew 7:7-8 You can't undo that revelation.
What you can do is stop trusting in that revelation.
The Galatians did.
The Corinthians did.
The Hebrews were starting to.
That's why the Bible talks about the importance of continuing in what you first heard.

Yes, what God gives is forever. But don't un-rightly divide this truth from the whole counsel of scripture.
You have to keep believing in order to continue in that which is forever.

I've been given the same Revelation that Peter was given. Matthew 16:16-17

Yes, what God gives is forever. But don't un-rightly divide this truth from the whole counsel of scripture.
You have to keep believing in order to continue in that which is forever.
And I'm telling you.......you can't unsee something that has been shown to you
