Ga 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Re: The CURSE OF THE LAW

I would ask you? Do you not have Gods Spirit working righteousness in and through you? And in simple terms this righteousness of the law, is expressed in the Love of God working through a believer.

George do you have a scripture that says Gods Spirit works righteousness in and through you.

The scripture you quoted says that the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us who walk after the Spirit.

Not the Spirit working righteousness in you, but you walking after the Spirit.

However, you may have a scripture that says The Spirit works righteousness in you.

Again you seem to want to play word games? If we fulfill the righteousness of the law by walking in the Spirit, can the Spirit not be the source of that righteousness? and again you ignore my questions because they would show that either you do not have the Sprit, or that you have no understanding of how the Spirit of God works through a believer?

Because I ask you for a scripture that says The Spirit works righteousness in you, you now accuse me of playing word games?

What I see in the scripture you quoted is the righteous requirement of the law is OBEDIENCE.

Which means righteousness in accredited to those who engage in the act of Obedience to the leading or prompting of the Spirit.

I'd like to see you thumbs up these facts:

If for example you think Paul didn't uphold the Law, take your pick Law, or Grace, to be against all sin and evil OR that Paul himself didn't have same, or that you and I DON'T have indwelling sin and evil present, those would be examples of a phony conclusions.

I'm expecting that will be a much harder pill to swallow.

Maybe you missed it?:-)

Ro 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.:thumbsup

Well you are free to be under the law if you like, but that is not the gospel.

Ro 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Maybe you missed it?

Once any believer reads past the nonsense spin and answers honestly for themselves they'll never see the same way again and they'll spot the phony every time.

Can you spell s-p-o-t?

Looks like you missed the RIGHT thumbs up again.

at this particular board I call the above the Mitspa/SBG gambit of posting to ones self rather than engage in open factual dialog.

Some very simple instant facts that God in Christ will truthfully vivify in the heart of His Own:

A. Both Law and Grace are and always have been fully against all indwelling sin and evil and any actions of same within or without.

B. That the Divine Curse is RIGHTFULLY DUE to all these works and workers by either LAW or GRACE.

C. Grace does condemn sin and evil too.

D. All mankind suffers under the fact of sin.

E. Believers have indwelling sin, evil present and do evil just as Paul himself said he had and did.

The math above is inescapable for any person led in and by The Truth.

Such will come to A TRUTHFUL CONCLUSION.

Such will come to A TRUTHFUL CONCLUSION.

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us
