Like what gives Paul credit in his writtings. He never bragged about himself, he admited he persecuted the church and didnt try be the man, he mentions real people, real places, and so on so on. Things like that give credibility dont you think?.

Paul was certainly in the good of following the example of the Lord Jesus, Who 'humbled Himself', as Paul wrote in his Epistle to the Philippians, chapter 2.
