I've eaten so many bananas if they are super ripe when I eat them I almost vomit.
 
Hmm... Well... I am drinking cold grapefruit juice, and his haircolor looks like grapefuit....

The different hair colors are a powerup form. Sort of like Super Sonic, if you're familiar with the Sonic franchise.
Toriyama decided that the Super Saiyan form would have blonde hair mainly to make it easier on his editors--blonde hair in manga doesn't need to be filled in and so uses less ink.
 
About 10 years ago I finished work on friday, flew all the way to Japan, walked the city, got drunk, slept under a bridge, then flew back the next day and started work on Monday.
