The Derailing Thread

There is some great modern music, questdriven ... I so agree with you about that. But there is some music that would be best not recorded.

I can easily recall back in the early 80s, when Michael Jackson was trying to blaze a solo return to the music world with his song "Billy Jean". So many stations didn't bother with it; most music directors at radio stations laughed at Michael's squeaks & eeps. However, power stations in the major markets such as LA, Chicago, New York (for examples) did play the song, which made its way up Casey Casem's charts. The rest is history.

This site runs, as Mike Rowe would put it, like a piece of poo.

Five minute page loads, not being able to log out, etc. is not cuttin' it. Time to retire the gator and get a new web host.

I absolutely agree. Gator isn't doing it's job properly. Try Lunar Pages. I've never had any trouble with them.

Ever feel like that?
No.

But I did have a dream this morning that the neighbors who lived next to us at our previous house were our next door neighbors again at our new house. And that we had lots of critters that roamed our lawns. And that we got a cat that could fly. And a skunk jumped on my daughter's back and we were sure she'd get sprayed.

You have interesting dreams.

That's not bad.
We have a squirrel population here the size of Hong Kong.
I drop a nuke on them and the next day there are more of them.
