The Derailing Thread

Well, as far as financially rich goes, no Edward's not rich. I usually pay my bills on the shut off notices, lol. Being self employed can be challenging at times, either feast or famine. The good part about self employment is that even when I'm slow...I have time to read the Word and seek God.

So I'd say that I'm richer in the Word than I am financially. I hesitate to say 'rich' because I have a lot to learn still and I know it. I think God has me right where he wants me, thanks Lord. :)

Sesame Street sure has changed from when I was a kid...

Sometimes when you're in fandoms it's like BROOOOOO how in the heck can you misinterpret a character so thoroughly are we even reading the same series o_o

Well, amateur radio station WR8Y just announced it is off the air until a new 50 amp, 200 volt bridge rectifier arrives to replace a failed part. The station's budget took a huge hit when the part failed - with shipping, this part will cost almost $15.

(I think station management is spending all it's money on tires and stuff for a sports car...)

Wow, the prolife tag on tumblr is filled with prochoice people. Guess it can't be helped...I suppose "keep your anti/hate posts out of our tag an in your own tag" really only applies to fandoms. In fandoms, especially shipping fandoms, it's considered rude to post stuff against that show or ship or whatever in the tags designated for them--and it is. But perhaps this is a more grey area in real world issues.

I reconnected with a buddy from high school a couple of days ago, he's living in Knoxville now and we're gonna try to catch up soon. In the meantime, we've been on PS4 playing Minecraft. That's how we roll.

I stumbled upon a job yesterday in Knoxville. A guy called me to check references on a guy I worked with last year - and one thing led to another and, well, my friend will be offered the job - but at the same time, the caller wanted to know if I'd like to come up and look things over as well.

There are some really interesting aspects of that place (the job, as well as the city) that have me wondering.
