The Derailing Thread

Hmmm, don't actually watch much movies or TV for the past 6 years or so. Lots of religious testimonials on youtube. Only thing, I've been tuning into Designated Survivor every week. Was a big 24 fan, and this new series I find just as exciting. My mother actually is also hooked.

That's cool! There's gotta be *someone* that saw his hand?
Ah, there was. One person. He pointed, but no-one else would look. He tried telling his neighbors about the hand, but they were all too busy adjusting their seats and wondering if they had enough popcorn. He began to shout that the performers were already on stage, but he was just laughed at. How could something exist that they can't even see? Finally the man was arrested by security and taken away.

When the mirrored illusions came crashing down, the audience watched as beings with magical powers descended like angels from heaven. They asked why no-one had warned them that the show had already started. The rumor went around that someone had seen a mysterious hand. But the man who cried hand was no-where to be found, and the people wondered if the whole story was just a myth.

There's a few members here interested in anime apparently, so a basic question: is there currently one single anime series that's undiputed number one? Bear in mind I know almost nothing about the genre.
Do you mean currently running or anime in general? For currently airing stuff, and the manga is still going as well, that would be One Piece.
Outside of that, I guess Dragon Ball is probably the most popular in the world. Sailor Moon was big when I was a kid, too, of course. And Pokemon, though that's mainly a game.

Great answer just as you have written. Thanks.

Are all theses events a product of her dreams? I like the song, and the anime looks interesting.
My brother had to explain it to me, but the story was her father sent her off in a capsule before the Earth got completely obliterated by an asteroid. Or something like that. The capsule is set up so that she can live in a virtual reality world. There's a longer video on YouTube that has a little more of an explanation.

Neat story!
