Yes but the word around the throne is that it is very soon now. To be honest though, I expect that what will happen is that it won't materalize as Harold Camping says and many more will fall by the wayside to disbelief. Then when 2012 gets here and it yet does not happen the world will be angrier yet feeling like they keep believing in fantacies. Even more will fall away and that is when they turn to destroy the visible church which we see in the flesh.
You do relate to what I mean when I say, 'The word around the throne', yes?
The earth is God's footstool and the heavens his throne. (Isaiah 66:1; Acts 7:49)
We are told to come worship at his footstool: (Psalms 99:5)
His true church is heavenly and not what we see in the flesh: (Hebrews 12:22-24)
Just as the Israel of flesh was only the incubator for the true spiritual seed: (Romans 9:6-8)
So also what we see of the church in the flesh is just the incubator for the true spirit seed.
But whenever we meet together for worship it is as we are sitting around God's throne.
We do not sit at the foot of the cross. We leave our old fleshly man there and rise to live with Christ. Christ sits at the right hand of God and so we gather to the throne by rising to walk after the Spirit in him. (Ephesians 1:3, 20;2:6)
Understanding this we can see that the world will not be able to even scratch Christ's true church matter not how hard they try.

Something else that hasnt chaged in a century is the intonation that real christians, 'the most devout and faithful', know with certainty the time is near. You dont think its near because you're not faithful and devout,,,
Well ,at least, thanks to Mr Blackstone we know with certainty that the people he considered to be the most devout and faithful of all demoniations completlely failed in their predictions.

That is just my way of saying it is the popular idea of the common worshippers most of whom engage in this same kind of speculation.
You don't see me much in the prophecies thread sections because I don't tend to speculate much about it. I am concerned that I just better be ready when it does happen and that is also my focus toward assisting others.
My only concern with prophecies is knowing what to avoid by heeding them but not trying to demand they happen at a specific time.

yes things are simple when one text is taken literally and out of context with the rest of the book, if any of you had taken the time to visit the website you would see that other texts indicate that gods people will not be taken by surprise, Noah wasn’t taken by surprise [gods ppl] but the wicked were [as it was in Noah’s day so shall be the day of the lord]

Devoting ones life to god is not a simple thing, it would take approximately 400 years to read all the texts in the Vatican vaults at a 40 hour work week.
The books edited from the bible [Enoch etc] act as incredible context to set time lines for many bible events, this was removed by Rome.
The 3rd Fatima prophesy [from my source] states that the Vatican will fall under $atan$ power, this is the prophesy which the church said the public wasn’t ready for.
Is the public ready to know the date was also held back ?
I read the site and though the base theme of the formula didn’t make sense, the amount of cross-referencing commanded respect and drew my heart.
This kind of devotion is not as simple as reciting one text.
As a student of science and archeology 1 have seen the debunking of all known dating systems [carbon/layering/polarization/etc]
[Google; carbon dating and other dating methods]
look into it yourself ... all dating methods have many flaws which make placing dinosaurs, floods, volcanoes, ice ages, asteroid impacts, artifacts, etc virtually impossible. 0nly in cases where tablets, scripts or texts concur with the given dating method can there be any degree of certainty.
It doesn’t end mysteriously it is a completion of the 26,000 year star-precession cycle, something science and astronomy have been aware of since time immemorial, and which is marked by numerous pyramid and monument sites globally.
… and camping's date has nothing to do with the Maya calendar, which isn’t Maya, as the Mormons said Christ came to America from Jerusalem, the Olmec had it first according to the records 1ve studied.

I really think we're in the last days of Satan's rulership & the Kingdom of God will arrive on the 21st May it will be Armageddon, 4 events prove this:
1) War in Iraq/ Ghaddafi
2) Tsunami earthquake in Japan
3) Earthquake in Indonesia
4) Bird Swine flu
These Events cannot be ignored, God Jehovah/Jesus said there would be 4 signs to mark the end of the world:

Actually, Jesus was saying that these things are not a sing of the end. You left off the first word of Matt. 24:7
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (Matt. 24:7 KJV)
The word "for" indicates that he is giving the reason for what he had just said, which was:
Take heed that no man deceive you. (Matt. 24:4 KJV)
In other words, don't be worried when you see these things happening and don't listen to those who say the end is coming because of these things. Earthquakes, famines, wars and pestilences have been around since before Jesus' time, and will be until the end.

I don't get this May 21, 2011 date. It's not on a feast day, not on Pentecost. The moon is waning gibbous about 4 days past full.
If anyone noticed, the Lord always fulfilled prophecy in accordance with the calendar and the Spring/Pentecost feast days were fulfilled at Christ's first coming at the time of the feast. There is nothing historically that fulfilled the autumn feasts yet, but God put them there for a purpose to denote His plan and prophecy (not to watch Israel party 3 times a year).
The feasts are: Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpets Atonement and Taberbacles. (There are several others the Jews added to commemorate things such as Purim and Hanukkah but the feasts designating God's plan are in Levitcus 23.) May 21, 2011 is not one of them.

If? Of course he's wrong. Judgement day (the day when sinners will be judged) won't be until after over 1,000 years, at the end of Christ's millenial reign. The day when the redeemed stand before God and are welcomed into His kingdom is usually not referred to as "judgement day", although, techically it is a type of judgement. But even that is at least 7 years away, since the tribulation hasn't started yet.
