thanks for adding the scriptures, I find it strange for anyone to consider that Jesus has begun ruling and reigning here on earth yet, we see that His ruling with the iron scepture is still to come...........come Lord Jesus!

so was pharaoh a god? he also was worshipped.why did satan need permission from god to harm job?has satan ever killed men by himself?if he has then only god has allowed it. for it is appointed all men to die. who made that appointment? god or satan?

we see from Johns writing that he was speaking of a time in the future, "Now is the time for judgement on this world"

was it judgement day already?....no

"Now the prince of this world will be driven out"

again we see this has to go with the prophetic word above concerning judgement, satan WILL BE driven out, as he still has to fulfil the prophesy concerning the antichrist and time of tribulation

Adam was the cause for this appointment, otherwise we would all be eating from the tree of life

but why didn't god slay him then? god appoints our deaths, he reigns NOW and now man escape the judgment. we either pay for the sins ourselves or its paid for at the cross.

either way justice is served and that is the point. God is ruling now and is allowing the world to on his time. study the man king Solomon and how he judged the enemies of david. he let them go and they hung themselves. that is how god does it. he warns us and when we cross that line. its done.

I trust Him in faith. I believe what He says... I see the world about me... But we know who holds tomorrow. My glass is half full not half empty... My joy, salvation, tomorrows, resurrection, etc is in Him.
 
they don't get that. I remember when I used to argue the same. sure its not where god will have it but if he came today . how many billions will see hell? its his mercy that keeps his wrath in check.

Preterists believe that...but we know that is heresy.
 
so look for a child born again called jesus.after that vision is of isreal and the male child must be what? jesus or someother savior.

the chapter in question is revalation 12.
 
I have been astonished to hear my premil pastor say that jesus is on the throne now and reigns and is in control.King of Kings and Lord and Lords. I guess that isn't a real title.

Jesus is the Son of the Most High God...that makes him all powerful as his Father. Satan who is a lesser "god" has been given control of this world but with restraints or we would have literal Hell on Earth as we speak.

That is wonderful reba and i agree....even though Satan is the god of this world as Paul said i have joy in abundance waiting on my Messiah to return to set up his Kingdom...if i am martyred before then that is ok as well because that i will wake up when that trumpet sounds.:amen

Yes...the way that Preterism twists it...to make it some kind of make-believe little fantasy kingdom all the while ignoring reality and scripture. :)
 
Satan would love for you to believe that he is the god of the world. Now consider the difference between 'the world' and 'this world'.
