We have our holiday Thursday, Thanksgiving. And alot of people get off the rest of the week
 
Hey Blev, hmmm the future as far as I can see is going to be a little cloudy and cool (18C). No hiccups or bumps in the road yet but it's only 5:30

Oh...thanks for telling me you got a holiday on Thursday...that makes me feel soooo much better lol

No holiday for me this week, we don't have Thanksgiving here. Does that help you? :)

I just got caught up on this thread LOL.

I went to a lovely church service this morning, then this evening we had our church's annual thanksgiving dinner. The church roasts the turkeys and everyone brings sides to share. Wow that was a lot of food ... and it all got eaten which is even more terrifying!

Yesterday we gave Thanksgiving food to some families that needed it. But we didn't have a dinner

Our church holds a monthly food pantry. The third Thursday (this past thursday) we do a a free dinner that is donations accepted if you can afford it. So we get a mix of our clients coming in for a free hot meal and church members donating what they can. Then the fourth saturday (that's this coming saturday) we hand out food for our clients. We have folks on hand who talk to them about the Lord, we have gentlemen out in the parking lot directing them where to go and handing out the food, then we have folks in the pantry packing the orders. This is our 6th month of operating and its just growing. :)

Faeriecat, that's great that your church is being so proactive in helping those in need. at the same time it's a little saddening that it's growing as more and more people fall on hard times.

Good morning all, unless it is afternoon then good evening :confused, from the central California valley. Where we have amusing aromas all the time, and right now we are adding copious amounts of fog to the mix.

Nice to see all the confusion about morning, evening, afternoon or night. Because that confusion means that we are a bunch of people from around the world, and that's just so awesome. :thumbsup
The internet is a real blessing when it comes to bringing a people together.
