The Heresy of Sinless Perfection as Held by Some Here

But didn't you say that it started with the last supper? And again, what does circumcision have anything to do with it? I never mentioned that. Distraction doesn't work.
The NT started at the last supper, but the bible.
Again, I believe in God's righteousness, not your self righteousness. You are no believer since you reject sound teaching about the gravity and deadliness of sin.
I don't believe in self-righteousness either.
Are you manifesting God's righteousness all the time ?
No, but there is sin in this world, and you and I are affected. You think it doesn't apply because of your denial.
I am not of this world, just as Jesus was not of this world. (John 18:36)
If the world is influencing your behavior, there is a way to make it stop doing that.
You're as sinful as that pharisee in Luke 18.
The Pharisee didn't have the option of being crucified and buried with Christ.
Until he did, he was forced to walk in the "flesh" instead of in the Spirit.
Thanks be to God for making that option available to us of the NT !
Then why are you still denying the word of God and preaching a heresy?
If perfect obedience to God was a heresy, I would agree with you.
But only the devil, and his children, thinks obeying God is a heresy.
Walking in light means being empowered with the Holy Spirit to overcome sin, which is a lifelong journey,
No it isn't.
Your death is instant, and so is your burial with Christ.
So is the destruction of your old man, and the resurrection with Christ to walk in newness of life.
They all happen as fast as your water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your past sins takes.
It may seem like a life-time to the unrepentant, but that is just because their repentance was a lie to God.
that's not what you're doing. You're not walking anywhere, you believe the journey is over and sin doesn't exist, while in fact the journey has just begun and sin is all around.
Turning from sin and getting baptized isn't a journey.
It is hearing and manifesting your belief.
You have no relationship with Christ as long as you claim you have no sin and thus no need for salvation.
That would run counter to 1 John 1:6, and 2:3-6.
It is the disobedient that have no relationship with God.
See, you're still in this world, you're transformed into glorious new being yet, you're still in your sinful flesh.
My flesh was destroyed.
Why don't you believe Paul's words in Rom 6:6 ?
It is written..."Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."
If your old man is gone, then why are you still in Arizona instead of heaven?
It is the vessel of the Holy Spirit that is in Az.
"I" am seated in heavenly places with Christ. (Eph 2:6)
You're deceiving yourself.
"If you have His righteousness, you are righteous !
It is written..."For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Cor 5:21)
Rejoice in the freedom from sin in Christ !"
If that is deception to you, I am guessing you have not yet repented of sin.
Am I right ?

This is also what I mean when I say sinless perfection is not possible in this flesh.
That is true.
But those "in Christ" are not in the "flesh".
If you mean "skin and bones", and not the "fleshly oriented mind", Jesus was perfectly sinless while walking in His skin and bones.
So too can we .

I bet those who know you outside of a keyboard can point out sin in your life.

I guarantee this.

There is a reason you cannot convince anyone here, that you are without sin.

Some of those involved in this thread managed to remain respectful after two warnings were given. Unfortunately, I see more posts from those who simply can't resist being insulting.

This thread is now being permanently closed.
