Bible Study The Law and Christ

Then I can safely say you do not believe these scriptures, or is it a possibility you have never understood them. These are the words of God in the Old Covenant as the Old Covenant brought a curse with it just as the New Covenant brings a curse with it. Gods grace is sufficient.

You think God is against His Own Words?! Is this your claim?

lol.

Deuteronomy 32:39
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

The enemies of God went after other gods and Moses was showing his enemies that he had no other god, but that of the true God that would avenge his enemies. One verse does not cut it. You have to read above and below for the full context.

I always look to Jesus for the facts mam.

Luke 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

IF God said, and He Did, that "I kill" and "I make alive" then both statements are in fact TRUE.

Read the posts already made on the subject matter.

Yes, God had FULL intentions of KILLING the natural man, Adam.

1 Cor. 15:
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

All the RED is how the FIRST NATURAL MAN was made, and it was done with Godly Precisions.

The first man Adam was made a living soul. Where does it say he was made a sinning living soul?
Yes it repented God that he made man and would have destroyed everything living, but found favor in one, Genesis 6:7,8. If Noah was a sinner then how would he have found favor in God. We are all sinners who have found favor in God through the the grace of His Son Christ Jesus.

Paul TOOK his death sentence, by the LAW, right here:

Romans 7:11
For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Do you see Paul running away from the commandments as fast as possible? No. Paul quite rightfully took the DEATH SENTENCE from commandments, as this is what they are fully intended to DO to the natural man, just as it did with Adam.

Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Colossians 3:3
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

There is a MANDATORY death sentence upon the natural man. Mandated BY the COMMANDs of GOD.

Yes God spoke these words and are true facts. Moses was speaking the very words of God to his enemies that he was of God as God worked through him to defeat Gods enemies. Like I said one verse does not complete the whole of what is being taught to us by the Holy Spirit.

Yes God spoke these words and are true facts. Moses was speaking the very words of God to his enemies

Every Word of God is for and in behalf of MAN. Luke 4:4.

Are Gods DEATH Words meant for our benefits? Absolutely! The commands are meant to arouse sin and to eventually KILL our natural bodies. There is no deferring the Words we don't care for to others.

God has FIXED this matter, the matter of the DEATH of the NATURAL MAN.

God is so FIXED on this matter that His Own Son, HIS OWN SELF, in a NATURAL BODY did NOT avoid that end, of the death of the natural body.

You think God is against His Own Words?! Is this your claim?

lol.

How could God ever be against His spoken word, that is nonsense. In post #5 your words: "There is no difference between Christ and the Law(s.)" in post #15 I showed you the difference between the law and Christ as both carry the same curse, Romans 8:2-8.

The curse of Gods Words are meaningful to ALL natural men, fully intentional to the death of our own flesh.

Why do you run from the inevitable, is the only question to ask?

The commands are meant to arouse sin and to eventually KILL our natural bodies.

Please show the scripture for this. The commands do not arouse sin, but brings us to the knowledge of sin as everyone's natural body will return back to the dust of the ground when they physically die, Romans 3:19-24.

Pure Nonsense.
JLB

The natural man was always meant to die. And does so because of sin.

Look around you. How many NATURAL men do you see that are 6000 years old?

Common sense tells us this apart from scripture. Death of the natural man is a reality, and it is so because of sin in the natural body.

Please show the scripture for this. The commands do not arouse sin,

Of course they do!

Romans 7:8
But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

Romans 7:13
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

1 Corinthians 15:56
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

No one avoids this STING.

Yes to the Spiritual death, not the natural death because man can not physically live forever, Genesis 6:3. You need to study Deuteronomy 27:11-26; 27:1-19 as these are Gods proclamation of the curse and the promised blessings for obedience.

Yes to the Spiritual death, not the natural death

The natural body dies because of sin dwelling in the flesh, and that SIN is aroused to resist Gods Words, which results in the DEATH of every natural body.

Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Of course they do!

Romans 7:8

If you want to remain condemned that is certainly your choice, but I know Christ has set me free from the curse of the law.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is no one without the other:

Colossians 3:3

Romans 8:10

We have been around this block before in another topic of discussion and all I can say is when one crucifies this flesh they sure do not make it alive again, Galatians 2:20; 5:24.

.

My flesh is dead to me and can no longer separate me from the love of God for now I walk no longer in this filthy rag as I am made righteous by that of Gods righteousness and not of my own as we do not work to attain grace for it is a gift given freely by God to all who seek His face
