We have life and faith from hearing God speak to us, not necessarily from the scriptures.

I don't think we need to put down our bibles but rather set down our preconceived indoctrination, stop having fear and and allow our hearts to respond to the law of God being written on our hearts.

But when I finally came to the knowledge of Christ, all of that was taken from me. I would try to study the bible, but the words were just empty to me, so finally I stopped trying to teach myself through study. And as all of the knowledge and things that I had learned continued to swirl around in my mind, I began to question certain of those things, and as I learned to listen to the spirit within me, all of the preconceived notions that I held began to be chipped away until it was just the spirit that was teaching me. The bible has become for me the source that confirms what the Lord has taught me in the spirit, and by it strengthens my Faith. That is why I said when you look in the bible, you would see an innumerable cloud of witnesses sharing with you testimonies by which you can learn from; and it is also why I likened the phrase putting down you bible to that of a spiritual fast.

The commandment was of all the tree's in the garden you may eat (Faith), but of the tree of knowledge you shall not eat (Obedience).

The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all man, for by the knowledge of sin, sin and death is revealed to us in our own flesh. I'm not sure how we can say that the scriptures testify of the risen Christ but don't make it evident. Testify means to bear record of etc. Jesus told Nicodemus he should have known what it meant to be born again because he was a master of Israel. Being born again means to be born into God's Kingdom and attaining the resurrection of life.

No, i think my message is more than likely directed at believers who have not yet accepted their resurrection in Christ.

But what if they didn't see it coming? As in caffeine. Most don't realize that caffeine began its life as a sword meant to cause death. Certain plants release caffeine in order to kill and paralyze insects which are feeding upon the plants. Jesus said all who live by the sword die by the sword. The bible says the devil was a murderer from the beginning. Wikipedia says caffeine was a murderer from the beginning. One might say, well you are talking about killing insects , we are not insects. This is true, but if one consumes death it does not promote life. A pack of cigarettes or a six pack of beer might not kill you today, but it certainly is not leading to life and Jesus.

For years I have spoken out about caffeine and I didn't understand the opposition I was receiving. But I finally get it. Its like the parable of the sower. The seeds thrown by the way side that are eaten by birds. Jesus explained the birds are like Satan and the seeds are the word. Satan quickly removes the word from their hearts. He was doing the same thing whenever I spoke out about caffeine. Because caffeine is Satanic, and a tool of the devil. The devil is able to "swell up" in anyone that is unsaved. The devil does not want anyone to know the truth. You better believe that caffeine is a BIG deal to the devil.

Well, if one had a choice of a naturally grown vegetable, or a genetically modified one. I imagine it would be better to go with the non perverted vegetable. As of right now, I don't know what all is GMO and what isn't.

I look at how much fast food is sold everyday, and I think of how the cow pastures have declined over 30 years here in TN. And it does baffle me where they are getting all this hamburger meat. Fast food is at an all time high, but cow pastures seem much less around here than what I remember growing up.

If a substance is known to promote death. Why then consume it? Luke 11:35-36 "

The body can't be full of light if one consumes darkness all day.
