Thank you Sara! :smt023Justmee said:Personally, I don't see anything wrong with a bit of a cooling down period. Hot heads can say things in the heat of the moment that aren't for the best. We need to remember we are here to promote CHRIST, not to solely bash another religion.
Yeah I know, I attend a Calvary Community Church with Pastor Mark Martin in Phoenix, Arizona. :D also under Chuck Smith.jgredline said:I have been to his church to visit a few times...He does have a very unique ministry and is biblically sound...He is another disciple of Chuck Smith whom I hold in high regard..

Yeah, but I know Keith also made a thread in the STICKY about it.jgredline said:Perhaps we can announce it here although I doubt many know of this thread.
It's easy to get stressed out on local and world events, Relic. Sometimes I have to go for long stretches without watching the news or reading a lot of negative things. Not that I'm burying my head in the sand but because it's just not good to feed on that stuff all the time.Relic said:NOTE:
I've been way too stressed out lately. Too much war and rumors of war, too much negative news, murders in town, foreclosures etc. The people of Cleveland needs your prayers!
Too many immoral people who thrive on perversion, fornication and gluttony/selfishness/greed. The city of Clevelands' population went from over One million people down to 450,000 and still slowly dropping. Crime has soared and the housing market is a shambles. This city is one of the those that is in the highest rate of foreclosures in the country. People look at Cleveland as a great place to visit (downtown sports and special events) but who wants to live here anymore? Literally Half the town has moved to the suburbs. We've lost half of the population due to the punks who run loose in the streets and have made our streets unsafe to walk. Something must be done to revive ourneighborhoods!!!!!
How does a city recoup from all the deterioration and gangbang'n attitude that has gone on for too long? I've become so very weary from it all along with all that is happening in the world.
Is it just old age creeping in on me?
Is it true that the older a person gets the more weary they become from all the corruption in the world?
Where is the refreshing? Lord I pray for at least a tiny glimpse of it. Lord, I need the vision, because where I stand now it seems like a stand still in the muck and mire of a horrible mess.
I Need to focus more on praise and Thanks & giving!!!!
Hold onto Hope! Keep the Faith!
Pray for peace! Pray for revival!
I pray the Lord show His Glory Speedily!!!
Please pray for a revival in our town!
