And as an example, though he is no teen, by husband was raised Mormon. so when I met him I knew I had to do a little research to convince him how false it is. I'm glad to say, he saw the light. :smt038
Well, my hat's off to you! They seem like they would be tough to reach.
Did you marry before or after his conversion? If you don't want to say, that's ok.

Hi 3...I agree totally!! That is a great way of seeing it. If you dont' know about other religions, how can you convince a teen, who know EVERYTHING, that what your saying holds water.

By not only you teaching them and having devotions with them and so fourth, but having them plugged into a good youth ministry (which we have at my church) and praying for them. Remember God's promise....Train up a child in the way he should go. .and when their old he will not depart from it (Prov.22:6)

I had help from my brother, feeding me things to show him and websites to visit...I think one in particular got him thinking, It's a site by a married couple, one is related to Brigham Young one to Joseph Smith. They are ex-mormons. We dated a very short time and at first I introduced him to the fictional "Left Behind" series. He loves to read so was quick to take it up. Whether someone believes those books or not, it got him into the frame of mind to see things God's way. So, when we got married he was well on his way to becoming a Christian. I must say that I knew he would convert. I prayed for years to find him and God gave me just what I asked for, right down to his hair color!!LOL!..So I knew he was in God's plan for me. I believe this even more for the fact that we lived 1,200 miles apart and I met him by chance in a chat room. I didn't even have a computer and just happened to be at a friends house using hers. :D

In a perfect world yes. I"ve heard many stories where devout Christian parents, totally involved in a Christian church, went every Sunday, and to Bible studies and raised their children the same, have their children turn away from the Church.

Well I'm not saying that there won't be a time when a child may rebel and go his own way, but God's word never comes back void and I believe that he will bring them back to their first Love it just might take some time. I for one am standing on that promise in Proverbs for my childrens sake also, in case they do decide to rebel like that. But as for now God has truly blessed me with them especially my oldest son who is 16 and tells me that he wants to save his first kiss for his Wife. How awsome is that??

How about adding some of that insight to "Mormon Church is No Cult", please?

Forgive me for posting this here, I just cannot bring myself to join another forum - I spend too much time here as it is:

However, I looked at your link and I kind of chuckled at the 'ads' on your site advertising for Mormon artwork!

Wow! I'm glad to see that it all worked out for you.
I have a friend whose cousin was saved by reading the Left Behind series so I'm not surprised.
