Wow! I don't think you have a clue what Psalm 82 is really talking about and why Jesus pointed to it. It has nothing to do with us becoming "little gods". If you really believe that then some of your beliefs may be just as as Copeland, Hinn and the rest of that bunch that teach that. :crazy

have you missed the reason why Paul wrote to the Galations? it was because they were basing their salvation solely on obedience to the law such as circumcision (not the 10 commandment law). his point in writing it was that they are under the curse of the law if they obey it alone, but that Jesus died to take the curse of death away, not to take away the law or obedience to it. they had to have faith along with obedience. do not take scripture out of context! he is also talking about ceromonial law, NOT the 10 commandments. if so, then we would be free to murder, lie and steal! and by freedom, he is talking about freedom from sin and death and the ceremonial law, not God's law that stands forever! dont just take verses out of context to back up your saying, read the whole thing and understand why it was written. in this thread i have provided scripture after scripture that they stress obedience to the 10 commandment law, go back and read them, and then return to your bible and let your heart return to the Lord. your excuses do not hold up to me, nor will they to God. your are quoting scripture in ignorance and arrogance; it is truly sad that most, most of the "believers" hold this attitude. let those who are willing with all their hearts to return to the Lord, for he is calling you to Him. i am not only stressing importance on the 4th commandment (i am here because it is the one that has been carelessly tossed out as useless, a commandment of God, useless?) but all of them. so many so called christians have anger in their hearts, lie, steal, cheat, divorce, and lust. God calls us to be rid of all those things and return to Him with pure hearts. also, obedience to the 4th commandment is very important, for God made it to benefit us. He knows how busy we can get, so he set aside a day for His true followers to rest and not have the stress or worry about our duties, so that we can fellowship with Him and others in spirit and truth. any relationship takes time to strengthen, how much more with God? it is not just going to church and calling it good, it is taking the whole day to rest. we can praise God any day, but God specifically BLESSED SATURDAY for this purpose, and if we obey, we will fall under the Lord's blessing. if not, we will fall under His curse, for only God's followers truly obey Him. obedience is better than sacrifice. THE, it is not what i would have you do, it is wat the Lord your God commands you to do, if you call Him your God.
He says to you, “Why do you call me Lord, when you won’t obey me?†Luke 7:46

As anyone can see from these scriptures, those who keep the commandments are the only ones allowed into heaven. For the love of God people keep His commandments. Now who was it during the Christian wars that killed the Christians for keeping the commandments and called them Judaizers?
