This is a dangerous thread. So much can be carnal mind speculation.
My mind is running wild itself.

The interesting thing I am seeing is (the timeline progression). If one does not notice the (before) and (after) speed bumps in this timeline you drag Eden into the future and the Kingdom into the Old Testament.

I am a limited redneck, and this is is a great challenge. There is potential to straighten out the crooked way. The problem is the curves have existed so long that people think

If we take it one point of understanding at a time, line upon line, we can see and understand the truth the Spirit is revealing to us from the scriptures.


The points I made were from the actual words of scripture. If we stay with the words of scripture and ask for wisdom from God we will understand.

Job2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

In Job Chapter 38 we are again told of the "sons of God " and all that we can glean from the scripture is the "sons of God" are indeed angels , we are told about creation before man was created .

4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

Yes. And No. Difference between the Only Begotten and us adopted sons and daughters.

BUT there are no angels described as sons of God.

I'm a practical man. I'm not superstitious, nor do I spiritualize where there is no evidence. Here are some more sons of God:

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. Job 1:6.

Sons of God here are humans in Covenant with God. It doesn't describe Satan as a son of God only that Satan came with them. Same kind of language in Genesis. "Presenting oneself before the LORD bespeaks of worship just like "[and men began] calling upon the LORD."

Blessed is the man whom thou choosest,
And causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts:
Ps 65:4.

God does the causing. These terrans came to worship God and Satan came with them. It doesn't describe Satan as a son of God, that foul cherub! And being that cherubs guard holy earthly things and seraphim's guard holy heavenly things, this event occurs on earth.

Here's the language in Genesis.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. Gen. 4:1–2.

It doesn't say she conceived again only that Abel was born. Same birth event. Cain and Abel were TWINS! Like Satan Abel just showed up! LOL.

God deals with humans, not angels. Judgment has already been rendered for angels. But Redemptive history concerns humans. And that's what Scripture deals with. So, all the spiritualizing believers do in inserting angelic beings where humans are concerned really does much damage to the truth of Scripture.

Here's one:

Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. Lk 3:38.

It doesn't say "son: in the KJV but there is strong implication that generational progenitors are being addressed.

Then you get into mysticism, emotionalism, and superstition.
And then heresy.

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. Gen. 6:1–2.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Gen. 6:4.

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Gen. 6:5–6.

7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

The "sons of God" in verse 2 are the human, godly line of Seth. The godly line of Seth were disobedient and took wives of the ungodly daughters of men, had children, and because of the sin nature in man and the influence of the ungodly women wives upon the children, they were without restraint of the Covenant godly line of Seth and were grown to be dictators and bullies in their society. I know Christians take "sons of God" as angels, but angels are first, a fixed number, have no genitals, and cannot mate with flesh.

The sons of God were angels there Jeremiah. Angels have the capability of taking on human bodies when they come to earth. Jesus appeared bodily after his resurrection to his apostles multiple times, and many angels that was sent were materialized such as the two that came to Lot. A supporting passage to indicate they were the angels/demons is Jude 6 which speaks about the account.
