Hi netchaplain,

In my view, there is one Spirit who is God the Father (Ephesians 4:4, John 4:23-24) and Jesus is that same Spirit (John 4:24, Ephesians 4:4) come in flesh (1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7, John 1:14).

Thoughts? Comments?
Eph 4:4 is another passage that shows that there are Three distinct Beings.

What rule of the ToS did I violate?

It is certainly not that I misrepresented your point of view.
Yes, that is precisely what you did. I believe in only one God, as I have stated repeatedly, just as everyone like me who believes in the historic, orthodox doctrine of the Trinity believes.

GOD has to be more than one? Scriptural support?
1Jn 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (ESV)

1Jn 4:16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (ESV)

These verses are saying that love is God's nature, exactly in the same way that God is light and God is spirit. So, the question then is, what is love?

Thought you said three separate beings. Was that someone else?
Someone else. Here is a basic definition of the historic, orthodox Trinity as given in James R. White's, The Forgotten Trinity:

Within the one Being that is God, there exists eternally three coequal and coeternal persons, namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (p. 26)

No, I think the question should be "why did you claim that I believe in some other god that is not love?".

In my opinion, there is only "one God" (the Father) as Scripture says; and one Lord Jesus Christ (Son of God and the Father).

What Scripture are you referring to concerning "the most important commandment?"

Thanks for your reply and God bless!
Ok,

The Greatest Commandment

28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[e] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Mark 12:30.

Yes, repeating the same argument over and over is meaningless.
Well, that's what you're doing. You haven't addressed any of the verses that I've provided and I've only given a fraction of the evidence for the Trinity. You haven't even answered my original questions to you, which are: Did Jesus only come into existence when he was born? Or was did he exist before he was born human?

We already stated our position.

And we don't agree with anything about the doctrine of the Trinity.
But that is why we discuss these things, to come to the truth.

The man Jesus was formed in the womb of blessed Mary.

The Word became flesh. That flesh was Jesus; in which the Spirit was pleased to dwell.
Or was did he exist before he was born human?
The Word of GOD existed; the man Jesus did not.
But that is why we discuss these things, to come to the truth.

I am not here to convince anyone of my faith.

I have a mission to spread that God is one and not a triune god.

I am spreading this to anyone who has a listening ear.

blessings.

So, you actually are here to convince people of your faith. I will be here every step of the way to make sure everyone knows that the Trinity is best doctrine that takes into account all that God reveals of himself in the Bible.

And you still didn't answer my questions. That happens far too often with anti-Trinitarians.

If we aren't to make any image of GOD in t likeness of man then are we supposed to worship man as GOD almighty?

If the body of Christ was GOD then would not the body of Christ still be GOD? GOD doesn't change, but the Word of GOD is said to have become man, therefore, once having become man; the power and glory of GOD weren't His (the man Jesus). These things received He back upon ascension. That doesn't mean that GOD wasn't with Him through HIS anointing Spirit. Jesus was in every respect as we are, and we are said to be as His siblings. Are we GOD almighty? I rest my case.

For your consideration...

John 1 "the Word was God"

Jesus is the "Word made flesh" ("God manifested in the flesh" )

If we look at this..

Let us make man in our image (Gen 1)

Notice "US......and .... OUR".....

That's 2........We know this isn't the angels and God so, it has to be the WORD and God.
The WORD is Jesus pre-incarnate.

Notice.... "God Spoke, and Jesus is the WORD".
See that?

Then look at : John 1:10 = This verse says that Jesus "made the World".

Jesus said.... "i have the power to take my life up again"... Jesus is "the RESURRECTION and the LIFE"

Jesus said.... "If you've Seen ME. you've seen the Father."

Jesus said..."I and my Father, are ONE" = John 1, "the WORD was God".

Jesus said..."You believe in GOD.....so, believe in ME also"

And ...

in Gen 2:7, God "breathed into Adam" the Spirit

in John 20:22, Jesus BREATHED on the apostles and said receive you the HOLY Spirit"

That's GOD giving the Holy Spirit. Only God can give the Holy Spirit as only God IS the Holy Spirit.

"God is A Spirit"

"Jesus is THAT Spirit"
