I learn more and more the further I walk with God. Years ago I thought brick and mortar churches had to be a big deal to christianity. Then I got saved and my discernment changed. As a noob/babe in Christ I fell or stumbled on many stumbling blocks. I saw people on youtube declare "all you need is the holy spirit". And this stuff made perfect sense for a day or two. Then I would figure out why we need the word. There is alot of truth to what this guy is saying. The true church is the body of christ. You can put the members of that body in anything, a building, an internet forum, etc etc. But I also understand the value in a house of worship. The public assembly. But many brick and mortar churches are so caught up in tradition they drift away from the bible. (and only the KJV bible for me).
The fact is its a different time right now. The youth walk around staring at a smart phone every few seconds. In a perfect world everyone would forsake technology and just live simple and go to a brick and mortar church and read their bible. But this is the world now. The truth seems to be a combination of things. The bible, faith, holy spirit guidance, assembly.
Jesus stays the same yesterday, now, and forever.
